Thanks to watching your video i managed the replacement without too much headache. I was really afraid to destroy the device. Thank you for sharing!

Great video. Much easier to disassemble this shaver compared to series 9 (I have both). What is the original battery model number…Sanyo …? Thanks

There are battery markings on the case to show what the polarity of each battery should be

I should probably have worn my reading glasses when doing this job.

I also didn't see the polarity markings :-(.
When I saw your message, I took a closer look: both marks are at the bottom, in the battery compartment near the contacts.
      Thank you for advice!

Hi I have same shaver. Batteries seem ok by my on-off button stuck in so it had to run down till the batteries were flat. I gently tapped the unit on the sides to try and make the switch pop out but would not. Any ideas please

Very tiny micro switch that. Best to de-case it so you have access to the circuit board and see if you can manipulate it with a pin or something. Make sure you take the batteries out though.
Or, just let it run down and plug it in when you want to use it.

big thanks for the video, you saved me money for a new razor, but i don't understand english well, what's the point of the reset button?

I think the rest button is to reset the counter for when the foil and blade need changing. So, you change the parts then reset the shaver.

Hey, i have the same model with the same problem, not charging. I have purchased and installed the batteries, re-set it, but still not working. Is yours working now?

Mine is working very well, but at first I put the batteries the wrong way round. Was yours working at all before you changed the batteries? Does it work when plugged in? If not then it is probably broken - but if you can find one that works on eBay but the batteries are not good then maybe you can get one good shaver for not very much money.
