Now today is a big addition to the stack. I was very happy and quite surprised with just how much Copper I got out of this old beast. A lot of blood sweat and tears in this week's video so I hope you enjoy it but most importantly I hope you've had a great week And you have an amazing weekend. Thanks for the ongoing support. I appreciate it every time you tune in. Take care BSafe and speak with you all soon👋🏻😁. And hope to see you all next Friday🫠
please get yourself a larger slab for pouring, you have so much trouble with things falling off, its about time you spoil yourself with a new one thats bigger.
Expect to see my wife and I every Friday. We come home from work and get cleaned up,find a bite to eat and cuddle up to the lovely sounds of that beautiful copper being poured into those molds. It's become a ritual now for a couple years. We absolutely love and enjoy the channel my Aussie friend. Our favorite part is all of the many critters you have running around as you melt. Thank you for bringing a little piece of Australia into our lives, one day our dream is to come visit there and see all the crazy wildlife and everything else it has to offer. Thanks for all your hard work to entertain my wife and plus the millions of others that get joy from watching.❤ God bless and stay safe 🙏
I have a brother that's been a paramedic for 40 years. He's been in some very dangerous situations, so be careful and take time to yourself to decompress. Stay safe and thank you for all that you do.
Here's to you getting to watch more of what you want, and less of society's ills, as long as you pay your bills and get to be part of the solutions people need, as long as you desire and deserve. Much respect.
That's an awesome melt mate! Those old motors are great value! You always get a good haul out of them! You'll be upon the 2,222kg before you know it! Have a good one mate, talk soon.
Yeah mate, all good buddy. Thanks again. You’re a champion. Hopefully all goes well on your end next week you get some new toys then I get a new old toy that’s gonna be pretty cool , if not not to worry but you never know. Hot as hell today probably 90% bloody humidity the entire day than when I’m just about to mow the lawn it starts raining so I thought bugger it ill mow anyway , then had a flat battery on the ride on jumped it off The Jeep started mowing, blocked it all up threw a belt and now it’s sitting in the middle of the property getting rained and it won’t start 🤦🏻♂️ a nice cold beer would certainly help that situation out👍🏻. Have a good weekend buddy. Catch up with you soon.
'Before I carefully take this apart.' 🤣 No doubt, using the most delicately precise tools imaginable. The interior has been home to a few spiders in its time, for sure. A decent haul. The copper pours being the highlight, of course!
6:2517:41 Oops, time for new handles. 😂 The birds are so cute in the bird bath! I imagine the bit of the motor you sometimes start a fire in would be great as a fire pit, makes me tempted to see if I can find one and snag it at some point. 😂 My favorite vids are always the motor breakdowns and the out of the ordinary object breakdowns, always a treat! 😁
Been shoveling loads of snow this night so this will be a joy this weekend after work, kicking my feet up and enjoying a cold one, or something more warming, and imagine my self in a warmer country
Fun fact @bigstackD Brooks motors is still going under name Brooks Crompton Motors and Mr Brooks started making motors in 1904. Live not too far from it. Thanks for another awesome video 😁
I have such respect for you! Anyone who can withstand the pain of that many broken blisters deserves respect. Daughter says you are the type of man she wants to marry - one who works hard and cleans up after himself. 😂❤
Hey there BigStack :) I absolutly LOVE your melts and how you dismantle stuff it makes me happy ^^ Also enjoying the Magpies that get great care from you. Nature bless you my Friend.
Thank you for another Fri and coffee. Man I am always envious of the view you have when you look out over the yard it is so beautiful. Thanks for all the work you put into your vids. Your awesome
Hey! Been watching your videos a lot recently, and just wanted to say thanks for the slice of home. Been in Germany a long time, and very much miss Australia. I will definitely be taking inspiration from you and building a smelting setup to go with my smithing shop when I finally move back home! Cheers mate, and thanks again for all the awesome videos.
Love it when you use the Heavy Duty Precision Disassembly Equipment but I have to say that I thought we would see a Baby Dropbear after hearing it at about six minuets into the Video and seeing it's nest as well.
Ah, there it is! That sweet, sweet, bleeped out cussing. It's like the universal alarm, letting everyone within a few hundred yard radius know that a man is working.
58:38 Jeez, nearly choked to death on my coffee when I saw the "Brook Motors Ltd" name plaque. Not only did my Grandfather serve his apprenticeship at Brooks, but Huddersfield is pretty much my home town. It always raises me a smile when I think about my Grandad. Thank you for giving me that Mr Heighway! As always, quality video. 🇬🇧❤️🇦🇺☺️😁🫡
Take care of your hands man!! I'm sure you already know but heat that copper up to the point of color change and it will soften it right up and make it much easier on your hands to twist in to bunches. Love the videos, been watching for years!
Another great show. I wish you would set yourself up a better pouring platform so that you have more space for the molds and the bars as you turn them out. You also need to design a machine that will twist the copper strands into crucible ready bundles instead of ruining your hands. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend.
Hey Mr. StackD! Another great vid! Those blisters though...eek! If I could make a recommendation I'd say get some better work gloves. Those rubber dipped woven fabric ones are great in a pinch, but as you've learned are good for getting a grip on tools and handles, but not gripping stuff directly and twisting. See if you can get your hands on some Mechanix gloves or similar with leather or neoprene palms. Great for manipulating stuff and dedecent life to them. Spend the money on a good pair. You'll save in the long run since you'll buy them less often. I also found Ironclad HEATWORX gloves that are great around the forge with silicon grips that let you pick up still hot ingots and molds (not red hot fresh, but still oven hot/boiling hot)
Always a pleasure starting the weekend with content from bigstackD! I remember when you built the new vault I was thinking there's no way he's gonna fill that up any time soon.. Yet here we are - when do you think you need to expand the vault? :)
Hello Big stackD from San Antonio, Texas. Hope you and your family are doing well. It's a little after 3:00 am here, and this video today was very enjoyable. A great start for the weekend. Until next week be safe and be careful.
37:07 you know if you don't lock him up right away, it's gone. They run like kids at a carnival. Cheers 🍻 congrats on the 1.5 great accomplishment with lots of hard work that has very well thought out.
I also wonder that orange would it be a temp heat to temp poured and quenched at learning the process still always loved working with wood and steal. Cause it would be cool if you could create it like the fools gold. Cause when I start making medals for my nonprofit discgolf course would be cool to pour "gold" medals cheers 🍻
Mate, if you wanna pour the best looking golden colour simply do 95% Copper 5% aluminium by weight. Put them in the crucible together and melt away. There won’t be anything to worry about , no flareups no problems at all and no dramas like you will get with the Nordic gold. This mix I mentioned above just give it a stir Before you pour , skim the crap off the top and pour away mate and you’ll get a golden colour even better than Nordic gold. It’s just aluminium bronze but with a different percentage and it’s almost as strong as steel so if you ever get a chance to do it I highly recommend it because you will love it
AEG should definitely sponsor you, thats so much that those tools go through! You're a crazy man, poking a redback like that.. jeez! 121AUD a day, just over 15AUD an hour (if counted 8 work hours each day) :D
Just had a thumper AND I believe our fam' would enjoy it. What about a colab with Cutting Edge Engineering and making a set of drifts for the motor slots? That is DEFFO something I'd drool over....you could use the biggest one to beat off those red backs. You brave dude...
Nice seeing that 1.5 million subs! Its well deserved. Some beautiful copper out of that old motor. We juat got out of sub zero ( -5 ) temps so seeing 107 f was a bit much to take in. Have a great weekend everyone!
Its Meltday!!! New day on my calendar instead of Friday, was hoping to get the furnace out for the first time this year, but we have Red weather warnings due to high winds a d a storm coming in.. 😢 want to put what I've learnt in to action!!! 😂
ah! tough as a croc's Back huh! your hands you only got two mate be careful treat yourself well and I approve of that yellow gold liquid painkiller and ointment for your hands.
haha, got in early. Congrats on the 1.5 mill subs, I see Grumpy got 500. Here's to the video, my guess is its gonna be a beauty. Cheers .. p.s. no I'm not a bot, just changed the channel name.
Well, well, well....... i enjoy you sayin' you got a tool for that.... ka-bloom ka-bam and it's your sledge hammer. When you showed that spider 🕷️.... i hope you weren't to get a spider bit, maybe i have to call you Spider-Man. What's name of that bird? Tweetie-bird🕊️. Man, all your work paid off, you reap the rewards of your Bars. Until next BIG STACKD
Hope you, your wife , bullion, Ingot and nugget and rest of the critters are safe from that wicked cyclone that came thru western Australia this week, keep on melting, freezing in garrettsville ohio, - 25 degrees.

Am I the only one who enjoys the birds, dogs and food as much as the melt?
All part of it, friend
Its like a fancy restaurant with lots of courses and drinks but each compliments the other for a far greater experience😂
No 😊
Definitely not!
It all adds up to be the best video experience on RUclips, all superb 🙂👌
👍👌👏 I absolutely love to see the birds using the bath and getting fed by you. 💚
Working as an ambulance driver in NC on the night shift. Favorite 3am moment of the week!
Stay safe out there, brother 🚑
Got to watch 3:45 minutes before my first call 🤣🚑
