i did some testing and life drain is basically not affected by damage or even magic healing, it always basically heals the exact same ticks. Im not sure if this is bugged or its always been like this but it seems worthless to stack magic healing if you plan to gain most of your hp from life draining your hydra Squire gear with 0 magic healing Without vampirism : 58 health regained 45 Will Full mag damage gear Without vampirism : 58 health regained 44 WIll 18 Magic healing gear Without vampirism : 58 health regained 44 WIll 18 Magic healing gear With vampirism : 58 health regained
Change my mind, a good but not op nerf: all curses don't kill. Power of sacrifice and curse of pain should not kill you with their debuff. Same damage, but it insensitivities a less a gameplay style that doesn't include running away and casting spells until your opponent is dead in the most obnoxious way possible.
@@LuckyGoober not really any reason to make caster lock weaker than it is in PvP already it’s basically a PvE class. If you aren’t locked in and consistent through the entire fight you die or can’t finish anyone cause of being strong in mid range only. If that happened all remaining warlocks just switch to wiz for PvP and just delete HP bars with fireball
love the videos my friend and I both agree youre a very good warlock. Id love to see you legitimately try using the meme beam over sacrifice for a video. for situations where you curse someone and cant really cast reliable bolts (first fight is a great example) the meme beam is actually pretty underrated. I did a test and the ray of darkness is a 5 second spell and the true magic damage applies per second. even though its around 11 or 12 actual "ticks of damage" your true magic damage should apply to the damage 5 times over the 5 seconds. it actually checkmates a lot of people rather than possibly sacrificing yourself.
this test was using an agility ring with 1 true magic dmg. took it off, tested damage, put it on, tested damage. i got 5 more total damage while wearing the 1 true magic ring. tested on my friend. so it had to be a "per second" thing in our heads. not 100% sure but was pretty clear
Hey brother, been watching ya for a bit, this is my first season on Dark and Darker doing high roller, I'm new to warlock as I was a rogue main before for memes and Warlock is the only class I can deal with HR Ai, any tips or a suggested build for HR or any tips in-general. Watched the vid and I can do a much cheaper but similiar version of this build, is that the move or should I be doing other builds or maybe focusing on dif stats to MH, I know to get knowledge but I'm curious as to what else.
check out my video "stop building warlock wrong" if you are looking for a non TM build and some tips on how i build lock. me personally i only play sub 25 and geared HR cause i don't really see a point in running mid kits cause you can do all the same stuff in zero gear.
you have to jump right as you are hitting the ground to keep momentum. if you bind jump to scroll wheel down in makes it a little easier but if your FPS is good you can do on spacebar pretty reliably too. im just used to scroll from CS
Has the squire loadout changed from your last video? I'm trying out warlock and I feel like I lack damage with a low investment kit and didn't know if its normal. I'm running some lowgear games cause my friend just started playing but I gotta do more damage to win our fights. I'm still not sure where my damage comes from on warlock.
@@arktrain4733 why only 5? Is there certain breakpoints needed? I normally aim for like 13 or 14, but maybe that’s overkill and I’m wasting stats, idk if the extra magi healing applies over the length of heals or if it’s just about breakpoints
@SpinachOW2 so the scalling of magic healing is 2(0.1), so you would need 10 magic healing base to make sure that each tic of healing gives you 3 healing. So with vamp, you only need 8 at the least because 20% of 8 is 1.6 and Ironman rounds it up to 2. Therefore, you would have 10, which is what you want for base. If you really want magic healing and have the money, then you wanna aim for 17 with vampirism or 20 without so that each tic will heal for 4. Though running more then ten will always be good because you will sometimes heal for 4 each tic because of iron makes hidden decimal point hp.
i am so glad i am not the only one feeling like the curse just misses randomly

Squire gear with 0 magic healing Without vampirism : 58 health regained

kinda weird because the healing should be affected by both Vampirism and Damage Dealt , not sure about flat Mag Heal

Then you’ll just have warlocks throwing fire bombs and torches all over the place, probably just end up being goofy.
