You're actually great at making guides, I used to play a lot back in the playtests and now getting back into the game again, tons of other guides are way too much in depth and talk about all the gear you need, this is way easier and wayyy more understandable!

This is type of a guide I need, a rare type, without overhelming piles of numbers and metas. I wanna see actual gameplay and I wanna hear more about of opinion and some basic stuff. That encounter with those dudes at 6:48 was great, tho.

I'm not exactly new but still got a lot of good info out of this. I always thought running torture mastery at low gear was a bad idea, but that was awhile ago.
Yes torture mastery has since been buffed massively on the low end. Thanks for letting me know!

@@corwindobrowski5354 yep that as well. Difference is, everyone now has their overall damage decreased because you can’t get as much true/add damage

Loved your video, but was confused by something I tried looking through hybrid classes for the 5th perk/spell effect you had but couldn’t find anything on it. What is it and is it important for bosses/warlock in general?

Hey ! Thx for the video ! Can you explain me why sometimes you are using 2 times in a row curse of pain on the same target ?
I'm stacking power of sac and curse of pain for more heals. But curse of pain does do initial damage

@@SirSmoken but there is a gear scored MM right? because how come that this guy walked up on me and just kills me in like 2 seconds? i was 95% health guess not a game for me then :D i tried it previously and i think it needs a more new player friendly mechanic

Bro I just played Warlock for the first time for a few matches and I wish I had played this character to start. It's like playing on easy mode! I mained druid to start... Why did I do that to myself
@@MrWEST1 it’s pretty easy for PvE yeah but PvP is where Warlock has to be played well or you’ll get farmed by every class and never kill people
I was wondering why u not using curse of pain for healing instead u use power of sacrifice
Sacrifice ticks more do you heal more from it. It also doesn’t have an initial burst of damage so it won’t kill the mob as fast
I'm new to the game. I noticed TM was nerfed to 2(0.05) health per damage instance, and spells cost is tripled. Is this build still good for a new character?
@@Jessterr2 yes you can still use it but the scaling for healing is very minimal at higher gear so the guides still apply

Hello, nice job with this video, I am playing a warlock after 8 months without playing, I see that you don't take hydra. I was wondering, since torture mastery already doubles the spell requirements, isn't it a bit too hard with players who still struggle to extract to keep all spells available since you need a lot of knowledge? Also, is hellfire useful in pvp?
I do not run hydra in low gear because you won't have enough knowledge to use it. Instead I bring bolt of darkness so you can use all of your spells. Hellfire isn't useful in solo PvP really but it drastically improves your mobility because you can use it to break down doors instead of opening them. And it is also very good for PvE
Thanks ! Just a question, why would you use Power of sacrifice to heal instead of curse of pain ? because of the duration?
Power of Sacrifice has more ticks and last longer than Curse of Pain so you’ll get more health from it. If you really need health you can stack both power of sacrifice and curse of pain and get health from both spells

Is power of sacrifice ever worth using for the buff?
Like if you plan on being melee warlock?
It could possibly be worth if you make a build for it specifically. But a lot of times you’ll end up just dying hitting yourself with that spell
Should I lead with power of sacrifice over curse of pain?
Power of sac in PvP is not advised but if you’re talking about mobs it doesn’t really matter, power of sac does last longer tho so throw that first if you want to stack the curses

Life drain is not good until you have enough knowledge and magic damage to actually get value from it. You’ll get so much more value from torture mastery and just cursing mobs
