I have been saying the exact same thing about mental vs physical exhaustion. It is so true! I work as a triage/charge nurse, at a desk, on the phones all day, and I go home and pass out on the couch at like 7 pm some days. I have never worked a desk job before and this is my first nursing job, but before that I was a medial assistant - very physically demanding job. I was thinking that with this job I wouldn’t be as tired… I was so wrong. I’m not in physical pain at the end of the day, but I am definitely tired. I love it though. 3 days a week, 4 days off - work like balance is great! ❤️
Even if you don’t have a lot of time to study. I think it would be helpful to do questions every chance you get, it will help retain all the concepts you already know. Also, I read the rationale whether I get them right or wrong. That’s another way I am learning so much
I absolutely love Cohen! That with the Leik book is a good combo! I like SM but I find that it’s so time consuming to fill out the whole book. The printable power points that Cohen gives students access to were a real game changer for me. I tried to share an example of one of her power points but I couldn’t figure it out. I am paying the $39/month fee for the SM test bank and I think it is well worth it.
Hey Wendy! How many nurses worked at the outpatient office you used to and how many providers? I want to know if each provider had their own nurses? Thank you
For RNs. I recently was offered a job at an GIM office with 12 physicians but there would only be 2 RNs in the entire office along with the MAs. It seems a lot so I just wanted to know what is the norm.
Who else works per diem or wants to work per diem?
I do!
I work part-time as a PAT nurse and per diem as an OR nurse.
@@glassgloss love that! The flexibility 🙌🏼
@@MarM583 what department?
Can you make a video on how to apply for bon in california from someone who completed an out of state program 😊
