If we could assign properties to composites, complex profiles and surfaces it would be a game changer. This way we won't have to input all the specifications in te name of the composite/complex profile/surface! They've done that to the building materials which is great, but it's a shame they didn't do it for the rest!
I agree. I have had a work around in place since 2013. Have a look at the World of New BIM Tools and see how I use BMAT name and Composite name to drive direct connection with my specification.

Oh, and the fact that you can get a correct skin list with a label but not within a schedule it's a real bummer!
