Gameplay Overview:
Gmod Trouble in Terrorist Town (TTT) is an online multiplayer gamemode included with Garry's Mod. The game is about a group of "terrorists" who have traitors among them, out to kill everyone who's not a traitor.

For anyone curious, the LinkedIn thing at the start of the episode is because of one of the Windows Surface tablets. They had a physical button to bring up LinkedIn on those, but because of the way the Windows OS works, it was easier to have it mapped to a keyboard shortcut rather than a button that just did that, so when you pressed the button of the surface it told the OS it was pressing those keys simultaneously
Same with Teams and Word and all the similar things you can open by changing the L to a T or W or O or whatever.
Yeah, no, while the linkedin one was added at that time, the word, powerpoint and other ones existed a lot longer. The ctl shift windows is pretty much reserved for micorsoft programs, and has been for a long time.
@@Hevensdragon sure but the principal is the same. these shortcuts exist so dedicated buttons can exist. we use keyboards with the office shortcut keys in WMS where I work.
friendly reminder that microsoft owns linkedin (they bought it), and that's why there's a linkedin shortcut on the keyboard.
It's funny that microsoft spent all that money on what has essentially devolved into a cesspool

Friendly reminder that if you use the same combination of shortcut keys Zylus described, but swap the L with a T, it opens Microsoft Teams.
@@SpydrXIII There's a bunch. There's a few obvious ones (Word,Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, etc), but also one for something called "Yammer" (now renamed to "Viva Engage", though still on the Yammer url)

Zylus has taken up more of an admin role for many of these recordings. Which is also why he will occasionally randomly show up in the middle of the episode without saying anything

Hmmm, don't think that anyone would (remember to) do that imo, but maybe it could be automatic when they haven't raised anyone. Dunno, there's a couple ways to do this that could be fun. @PanSpaceman
Make it like the possum where you have to turn it on first, then once it's on you have 60 seconds to continue playing as the mad scientist before you get converted into a zombie.
You also make it so that if you die before the 60 seconds are up you are turned earlier after a 5 or 10 second delay. Might be too powerful as is currently written here but adjustments will help.
@deadman2502 yeah that's fun, would just have em resurrect instantly tho to not have them also get the element of surprise

Rythian's words at the end of the second-to-last round were prophetic. Duncan got the extremely clutch win against Breeh that he was denied in that round in the following one.
Microsoft acquired LinkedIn, so that's why they have a shortcut to it. It's still unnecessary, but at least it's not out of the blue.

Its a Valve thing. I'm not sure about half-life but CounterStrike you can change crosshair sizes, even all the way back in 1.5. There are a lot of console commands for crosshairs too.
That "My Girl" reference with the death by bees achievement is so old that I'd say even most of the people from the beginning don't get it.
yh But the yogs reference that all the time ok maybe not all the time but alot of times, ive never seen the movie myself but ive heard about it so many times from watching the yogscast

@@LimeonCandy one of the best manga editors, no I am not kidding, it has one of the best text box interfaces for putting the letters at angles without distorting them and blurring pixels, so it actually gets used a decent amount by translator groups, if they want to bother with making it look real nice.
1:46 Nah that's not for a penis, most theropod dinos had that. And the thing is, it didn't even jut out that much. Dinosaurs are a lot fatter then people tend to think, do in part to a lot of their skeletons on display lacking a sternum, which were most likely made of cartilage and don't fossilize.

And you cant get rid of that shortcut either neither neither. But if you swap L for almost any other button you get a different program
