God loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten son to die on the cross for our sins.I cant force you to believe in what i believe for you have been given free Will, But im telling the truth our Saviour is Jesus Christ and only trough him we can be saved. Im not telling you this to judge for i am a sinner too but i am inviting you to a relationship with God. Praise be to our Lord. If anyone wants to know more about Jesus you must read the bible

Same here. Its been almost 9 years for me. In high school i was a very strong powerlifter. The last meet i did i was at 630 lb squat, 550 lb dead lift, and 415 lb bench. I tried to continue after i graduated but i think the lack of competition demotivated me. I used to sit there and study the stats of people i have to beat and since my deadlift was weak i would find the difference in my other lifts. I really enjoyed the competition of it. So it was really difficult to keep it going after. I realize i could have competed outside of school but i went straight to trade school after graduation and went straight to the workforce after that so i rarely had time for the gym. But now i miss it so much and these vids are waking me up a bit and making me want to bend some more bars. The hardest part is starting back at square one, the few times i tried to go back i felt so weak and it wasn’t the same. But i understand its going to take time to get back to where i was. I wish i never stopped. With a head start like being in the 600s in highschool i lord knows where i could be today. I could have been squatting 1000 right now lol. I think i proved i have good genetics if i went from bar weight to 600s in 4 years lol.
Let's all be honest here - El Campeon is kinda in decent shape for his age despite all the nonsense he has been doing. Dude has potential with a proper training routine/form.
it just goes to prove that not everything is about the optimal/ best way to lift. just showing up and being consistent and pushing yourself overtime alone will get you above average than everyone else

Even so, in this instance, all the “haters” have been completely justified in their judgement of el campeon. His piss poor form and ego lifting is finally being corrected by a professional. It went on for far too long.
Larry Wheels is a tremendous man. He gives a unique opportunity to a working man who dreamed of improving and lifting heavy weights in the gym, like "the champion." Larry, thank you for being a good human being and sharing your knowledge and time.
Mad respect for actually trying to help someone who might not have had the best information to begin with, but clearly has a passion for lifting and is very respectful to Larry as well! Great duo
I recently read You Are Stronger Than You Think by borlest that goes deeper into this topic and offers practical ways to support testosterone naturally
I’ve searched YT for months in search for a proper squat technique. Had to learn majority of it myself by trial and error. Larry here… kills it all within 30min. You won’t find any better than this tutorial. Thanks Larry!
Larry is something else, he spent time with someone who didn't know what he was doing and had the patient to explain and teach him. Love that about him. world class Larry, i take my hat off to you sir.
Damn, this is awesome. So much respect for you Larry-not only are you taking the time to teach him the proper way to do the movement, but you’re doing it without judgment. It says a lot about your character. And credit to El Campeon too for being so open-minded and humble about learning the correct technique. That’s how growth happens on both sides!
Larry is not only an expert with his training knowledge, but hes able to explain it in such a way that really breaks everything down for anyone to understand.
First of all thumbs up! genuine video and high quality content! as Larry said, it is really important to open up the hip to get proper squat depth. i worked on that with my clients by putting a mini loop band around the lower leg, about 1/3 over your ankle. then move your knees to the outside by squeezing the glute. to make sure your working your hip muscles while doing it, it is necessary to keep the whole foot on the ground by rooting your calcaneus, the ball of the foot and the base of the pinky toe (the foot tripod) into the ground. when you know how to active the hip to hit proper depth a nice warm up would be to hold a weight infront of your body at shoulder height and get down to the deepest point of your squat, keep the tension on your muscles and hold the position for 10 seconds, then come up. this is a great exercise for squat specific hip mobility. To get a feeling what proper bracing is you can lay on your back, put your feet on the ground, so your hips and knees are bend and your lower back has contact to the ground. now put a weight on your stomach, breathe into your diaphragm and squeeze your abs. if done correctly the weight should move towards the ceiling.
i came to watch the video for el campeon and ended up learning so much. Larry never made fun of his technique or way of doing things but instead spent the time to teach him form and the right way to do things. amazing video. so inspiring.
This is great! He get's a lot of hate, but I am confident MOST of us are actually rooting for him. We just want him to learn and succeed and avoid injury. He will surely be the bodybuilder he wants to be when he gets it all dialed in properly. More videos like this Larry. We all want to see the progression! Great work!

Man… to see Larry to teach El Campeon how to do the exercise properly (on a powerlift setup - as El campeon loves) is absolutely amazing and great to see. Learning a bit of English as well, what an awesome experience.
