In my country it isn't possible to do that if they're in a state school. Private schools, sure, but state school can't expel anyone. Too bad many other kids, teachers and parents must suffer so that one bully can have his right to education (which he doesn't really want, anyway).

Why are bullies more 'protected' than the actual victims?
Bleeding hearts spending over 2 decades promoting a stupid idea that all criminals are "victims", thus any victim who defends themselves against a criminal is harming a "victim" thus is the bad guy. It started when blame was no longer placed on parents and the kid and instead it was all "Society's" fault, because you know its the entire planets fault for crappy parenting or a natural born psycho being born, apparently.
Zero tolerance policy and soft on crime laws.
Because normally a bully is more popular or teachers like them more, so people dont want to face the truth and expose them for bullying.
Because "boys will be boys" and every adult male thinks it's just a phase they go through because they did it themselves and they grew out of it.
Because you’ll find that it’s the teachers who are afraid. Unfortunately victims when they gain enough confidence and stand up for what’s right turn to the cowardly people
Breaking and entering, death threats, attempted murder. That’s not a bully or a jerk, that man’s a criminal.

That bully would’ve killed him either for the fun of it or just to show his own stupidity in the form of bravery and strength, whereas the victim killed the bully due to the bully breaking into the house and possibly killing him, aka self defense

The kid didn’t kill anyone. He protected himself against a fucking monster.
Edit: so uh, people seem to think I’m condoning murder. I’m not, to be clear. All I’m saying is that this scenario wasn’t murder. It wasn’t premeditated, nor did the kid kill for shits and giggles. The bully implied that only one person would be left standing after the interaction, by shouting, “I’m going to kill you!” throughout the house, the child was in genuine fear for his life. In my country it isn't possible to do that if they're in a state school. Private schools, sure, but state school can't expel anyone. Too bad many other kids, teachers and parents must suffer so that one bully can have his right to education (which he doesn't really want, anyway).
