This was a really great tutorial. I recently finished my undergrad in architecture school, and because I decided not to attend grad school this fall, I feel like I have more than enough time to really refine my work over the course of four years. You're such an inspiration! Keep up the great work and continue to inspire! Peace!
I am really glad you are taking the time to invest in yourself and develop your skills. I cannot wait to see what you create! and thank you for watching
Hi.. I've been working for more than 10 years as an architect.. but since I found your channel, I started to learn again about architecture presentation.. Thanks :D
Hey guys! just a heads up. Apparently, there is a new RUclips Algorothim that will not show videos on your home page unless you turn the bell on and press the like button. It is really annoying but makes sense as to why some of you have thought I have not uploaded for ages! so please do that if you want to be notified
I hope you enjoyed today's video! Learning illustrator is definitely a process, however a process I am thoroughly enjoying using Skillshare! The first 1000 people who click the link will get 2 free months of Skillshare Premium: skl.sh/survivingarchitecture15
Question. I am struggling with editing the lines from the pdf I imported to illustrator as you did in the very beginning of illustrator part of video, where you changes the dashed line to continuous one. Is there something I missed while I was exporting pdf drawing from Revit, or illustrator should automatically recognise all the lines? The rest of the video is super clear and understandable, thank you very much for this tutorial
Hey great video! I like it a lot. I believe you can change the transparency of the fill of a shape without it affecting the stroke, for that you need to use the appearance panel which lets you change the opacity of fill and stroke separately. You can check for the appearance panel in the window menu.
Thanks for the tip! I did try that though in the beginning on the appearance panel but the stroke turned grey. So, I am not sure if I'm missing something
