Hi mate the sinking line is use is an Airflo DI3 and the floating line is from a company called Celestial and the website for that is below 👍👍. www.celestialflylines.co.uk/lines?store-page=Comet-7-wt-floating-p579418751
Great video, I love the OSG bfd. A question, on my last outing I noticed a lot of “bumps” on the bfd and I’m wondering if I should possibly “trim” the tail or would you suggest changing my retrieve from medium speed figure of 8. Thanks in advance👏👍
Hi mate👍 generally i find with the damsel the takes are pretty solid but i also had the same feeling the other day definitely fish plucking at the tail but that was with a slow retrieve. Could be worth speeding the retrieve up slightly or go to the extreme and strip the fly in instead👍
@@stdayman definitely worth a try or as in my new video i use the damsel on the point and 2 cormorants as droppers if the fish dont fancy the damsel the cormorant patterns are a little more subtle and they may take them instead 👍👍
@@OverSheGoes at my level, I’m lucky if I can fish a point and a dropper without a snaggle, let alone a washing line, but I will definitely use an OSG bfd and a cut throat cormorant on the dropper 👍👏
@@stdayman im not overly fussed on droppers but sometimes they are deadly. I find using heavier leader helps eliminate tangles too. Ive used 10lb airflo G3 flurocarbon and still caught fish on small flies 👍👍
Hi mate if your on Facebook add ‘Andrew Bufton’ hes the main man i use 👍👍 if not he has a website which the link is below but im not sure if its working taffbargoedflies.co.uk/password
