the reason techno could fly was due to the Elytra. it takes up the chest armor slot and on its own just allows you to glide while airborne, but if you use a firework in your hand while gliding it propels you like a rocket. very useful for chasing down fleeing orphans

So letting this team of 3 incredibly experienced pvp Minecrafters be a thing is the worst choice Noah ever made in organizing the event.
Or the best choice, considering it raised like 50% more money for charity than it otherwise would have, AND it was hilarious.

the reason technoblade was forced to play in the 3 team tournament was because of his reputation as the master of Minecraft combat. Even after his unfortunate passing, he is still considered one of (if not the best) in Minecraft PVP fighting (player vs player)
This video is playing a genre of Minecraft called Hunger Games. Just like the books, it’s a group (or solo person) trying to survive to the end by finding gear in the wild

They made them play 1 down because Xnestorio and Calvin are even better at pvp than Technoblade and also because they knew Technoblabe would get alot of donations for his popularity I love them all and I rewatch the stream like 30+ times and there is a point where he gets so many donations all 3 of them cant open the luckyblocks fast enough this was so good and fun to watch.

When they say another team is "stacked", they mean that that team has good equipment. They can usually tell this by looking at what armor the players are wearing; diamond armor looks different from iron or leather.
The lightning effect is a cosmetic effect that triggers whenever a player dies. It is unique to the tournament, and not something that happens in regular minecraft.
Also you can tell by the glow whether their stuff is enchanted or not.

the best part of this is that the highest kill count record for this tournament before was a total of 19 for the WHOLE TEAM who did it, while Techno's team did more than 116 kill combined with all of them getting above 25 kills individually
Which is more than half the players in the tournament. xD
Techno can fly because he has an elytra and he took off his chest plate because you cant have an elytra and chest plate equipped at the same time.
The winner is the last team standing.
The kill counter is the nuber of palyers he's kill.
specifically the number of players he got the killing blow on. The TEAM has killed more than that together, bc Calvin and Nestorio were also A+ PvPers so the three of them together were insanely hard to beat.

Techno just knew a lot of the people and knew how good they were. Like how he called FireBreathMan "sensei", because Shane (FBM) has trained a lot of the best fighters out there.

I think you'd love the MCC Pride '21 video, but he only posted an unedited VOD of his stream and there's no way any reactor would sit and watch a three hour video. 😂 So, the best *edited* one (cut down to a manageable length) is "So We Won the Minecraft Championship ft. Tommy, Wilbur & Ph1lza". You'll know Tommy from this video. He's the blond kid you said looks like a younger James Acaster. And then there's Wilbur and Phil, but you haven't met them yet. They were in the video Kira reacted to recently about SMP Earth, with Phil being Techno's partner in crime, while Wilbur is the one who put them on trial for the crimes. They're all funny as hell.

The thing is elytra and a chestplate can't be used at same time you can only use one at a time that's why techno needs to swith bcs in fight chestplate really decreases dmg taken while with elytra he can travel fast
Techno, BY HIMSELF, killed 21% of all entrants, with Calvin coming in at 20% right behind him. His team took 1st, 2nd, AND 3rd place, with Witchtiger in 4th with less than half the kills of xNestorio in 3rd. That tournament for all the other teams had to have felt like the wrath of God descending on them.
