They are amazing. You have to use Korda carp hooks to tie your own flies. I have a collection of hooks broken, straightened out. As it goes dark, my God. It is like sea trout fishing on steroids! Brings back wonderful memories. Brilliant film!

Spent some time in India twenty years ago in my pre fly fishing days and I remember some places in the upper Ganges watching huge shoals of Mahseer stacked up. In the middle of town too. Such a missed opportunity: but a reason to go back🤘

Wondering what weight rod/line/leader/tippet they were using.
What size gear did you guys use? 10 or 12 weight?
Great footage but can you only catch them bunched up below tribs? that doesn't seem all that exciting IMO...
