This sound is excellent (even from my computer). I've been listenning to Harbeth last month in a shop, and i think it's a real alternative to me now. Just the look, a bit too vintage for me, but what's the most important !
Why vintage? To my taste, the design of Harbeth is timeless and will fit perfectly into any interior. My eldest daughter, when she first saw this acoustics in my house, said that they are like a work of art... Best regards, Vladimir
Beautiful rich sound marred by somewhat metalic highs. Two metal dome tweeters. Soft domes may not have quite the pin sharp transients as metal domes they still sound more life like to me.
I would NOT want to hear those speakers WITHOUT those awesome wireworld and nordost cables, that's why they sound so good. Male Voice is as clear as a bell.

Very nice. Can't go wrong with Harbeth. I am not very familiar with Triode. Are you happy with Triode? Build quality looks good. I am in the market for a tube CD player and was looking at Vincent Audio. But this looks nice also. Not many reviews on Triode that I have found. I suspect that is because it's primarily a Japanese brand?
Hello! This is my first tube amplifier, bought it intuitively. Triode about 3 years old, did not disappoint. After a year of work, replaced all the light bulbs in the Golden Lion, a former steel making noise. Have a dream to listen Triode with acoustics JBL 4319 and Heco Direct... Best regards, Vladimir.
hm, combining a speaker that has neutral studio-like sound characteristics with a tube amp is kind of counterproductive. Amps don't have sound characteristics if built correctly, except those tube amps.
Hmmm. So I suppose the studio where this song was recorded should not have used EQ or compression to tweak the sound of the vocals, guitar, bass, drums, etc? It's all a question of personal preference. The OP probably spent a good bit of time 'chasing tone' with his system. And he found what he likes. So what if tube amplification is a subtle form of tone shaping? Why should someone liking the sound of "those tube amps" bother you?
Not really because perhaps he likes the colouration of his tube amp and doesn't want to add more character via the speakers. In this case a purely neutral speaker is the optimal solution. It actually makes MORE sense to combine a neutral & a coloured component than what you’re suggesting which is neutral all the way. Like sweet & sour chicken, it's all about balance (although if someone craves an all-neutral system, nothing wrong with that either)

I prefer metal tweeter or air motion by a mile. Always found soft domes sounded dull/flat, especially with brass and drums. To each his own;-).
