I think this is the first time I've heard a cover of Mr. Brightside that I've liked. It seems like a difficult song to cover because most ones I hear don't capture the spirit of it, but MUNA did great.
WTF WTF WTF WTF So good!!! I have seen Muna twice so far, once in Chicago at a tiny venue called Subterranean and then at SummerFest in Milwaukee. The first time, Lo Moon was the opening act and it was like a homecoming show for Katie Gavin. That show gave me goosebumps it was a show where the crowd had so much fun but you could tell the band was but not just that you could see them probably feeling goosebumps too.
I think the extremely hard parts of this song are the finger placements for the guitar and the vocals XD The bass, drums, and keys are more basic BUT nonetheless it's hard in that you have to make how basic it sounds feel really REALLY good if you catch my drift and this cover nails that
Been listening to the new Killers album a ton and stumbled across this while doing a RUclips search. Must admit my first listen didn't go well but I watched a second time and it completely grew on me.....
