I chat to Graham and Tom of Treasured Films about their experiences and problems with running a new label for their Blu ray Limited edition releases.
We talk everything from limited edition packaging to what they've got coming up and the extra little things they're doing that no other boutique label does !

Thanks for leaving a comment Elliot. Definitely worth reaching out to the guys, they put in the work and it’s always nice to try and give that bit more awareness for the smaller labels. I hadn’t really heard of them until I stumbled on their release announcement for You Might Be the Killer. Glad I found them. Really nice to chat to them and they were more than helpful trying to carve out the time to chat to me.

@@RetroReels absolutely love that the guys were so open and honest about things. I hadn’t heard of them until I noticed You Might Be the Killer was getting a release. Looks like they put together some great packages and actually care about what they’re putting out.
I wish them all the best and hope I can possibly do another video with them in the future to perhaps dig a little further.
Hadn’t heard of Treasured films before this video. I just went to their website and pre-ordered “You Might Be The Killer”, looks like a great package for a film I really enjoyed.

How do you find the Treasured Films releases. I think they look pretty great. Did you get the limited edition for Last Hunter ? Can’t wait for You Might Be the Killer.

From what I’ve seen, they look to be of a really decent standard
@@PhillwithadoubleL really like them. I'm a big fan of hard box out covers and so far the artwork they have chosen for all the released is fantastic. Good prices too
@@bogeymenproductions yes, I did note that they’re keeping the prices at decent amounts. For the packages they put together i think most other labels would have been a good % higher

@@PhillwithadoubleL Indeed. They do seem really passionate and "real" for lack of a better term. They seemed really into it (the interview). Def would be some good info to know on shipping and coding. Generally speaking I try to buy direct with the boutique labels when applicable. Looking forward to what comes next. Side Bar I don't know how much you're interested in Japanese cinema, However there is a Boutique label called Media Blasters here in the states. The head guy Jon Sirabella Would probably be down to do an interview like this; granted he's from the New Jersey in USA. I know his company does do international shipping and has a youtube channel to announces releases and such.
Fascinating video Phill, Graham and Tom were very informative (I’ve learnt a lot about the process they have to go through) I wish them all the best and I do plan to order The Island from their website. I would like to put a suggestion across to the of the film The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming, it’s currently out in America (region locked) it’s a superb film and needs a European region B release. Hello Phil. The film "Reality K*llers" (2005) that Graeme and Tom were talking about releasing has been BANNED by the BBFC hows that for infamy in 2024. My heart goes out to them, you don't even get a refund from submissions that have been rejected.
@@Coastlinefx man, that sucks. Love that they took the chance when they already suspected it wouldn’t get through but it stinks that it came at such a cost.
It was great to chat to them and love that they were so open and honest with the responses.
Thanks for letting us know the movie that they were chatting about, just wish it was better news for them.
I noticed one title's region b and one is region free but they say they can only ship within the UK which stops me from buying their releases living in the US.
Are they going to have any titles that ships the US?
@@MediaFeverPitch I think with them being a relatively small company at the moment that they may only stick to UK for shipping but… their titles are on Amazon and HMV (possibly Zavvi too) so you might have more success with the international shipping from them.
When I chat with them again I’ll quiz them a little more around if they’ll be introducing that international shipping option.
Im guessing you re recorded the questions to the guys. Maybe a stream yard recording would be a good idea ? Rather than this style seems more interactive that way, getting reactions to interviewee answers 👍
@@MattVs_Movies everyone does that though Matt. Might be a tried and tested way. I wanna approach things a little differently.
I’ll be putting the full Streamyard recording unedited up onto my Patreon in a couple of day which will satisfy that style for those that want it in its original form.

Was that Tremors still in the wrapper? I got the Steelbook...still in the Wrapper...but I did get it for £15. When I buy I movie I've already seen, I need a cool off period before I watch again, might be on the shelf for a while...
@@OzzyMandias unfortunately yeah, it’s still sealed and awaiting the free time to enjoy it. The curse of being a movie collector. It’s nearly impossible to keep up with watching all the cool releases… as well as the new stuff.
