What an awesome company. I have been privileged to be invited to many listening gatherings. Mat and Harry are a nice team. Keep up The good work and see you both soon.

Three great guys and a wonderful chat. Fun and informative. Harry (and his wonderful wife, Sheila) were so kind to us at the very start of our magazine 30 years ago. Remember the brunch at The Pierre, Harry?
Mat has done a fabulous job with Harry’s great company. And you’re right, Ken, the VPI house is wonderful.
Karl Sigman, our Managing Editor and my friend Scott Wilson (The Pressing Matters) both use VPI as their references.
Continued best for the company. And thx, Ken.

So while I watched this interview at our summer home, I was looking at my HW-19 and HW-16. These are serving well since 198? At my winter home there is an HW-40 and an HW-17. Before the HW-40 there was a Prime with two arms. So you might deduce that I am a satisfied customer. Ken and I correspond about jazz from time to time and we both share a background with drums. I really enjoyed the time spent today. Great questions, meaningful answers, thank you gentlemen!

I like this company. I think my next turntable it's going to be vpi. I like the look of a lot of the European counterparts as well.

Can "the old man" Mr. Harry be convinced to ressurect his ultrasonic process and research findings and publish them to a book ?
....the UNDERSTANDING AND WISDOM would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED to those of us who wish to learn and IMPROVE.

What’s a significant step up in sound quality from the Prime, without breaking the bank and preferably more user friendly (I shake too)?

put a tonearm lift on all your tables please how hard can it be to engineer a high end table with a tonearm lift at the end of the record good gosh!

It isn't but we are proud to share the love and keep our focus on turntables. Check out Trulift, Little Fwend, and others. We have considered it but haven't made any movement yet. Who knows, maybe you just inspired us! 😊🤔

personally i just run my audio through a guitar distortion pedal if I want to replicate the poor quality "warm soundstage" of vinyl. much cheaper than buying a turntable the price of a used car!!
