I don't play an instrument. None do I work on them but it's very inspiring to watch you work. Then try and achieve your level of craftsmanship into what I do. Thanks for the inspiration.

I remember way back in high school when the TOP clarinet player had an emergency repair to his clarinet right before a marching band performance: he had rubber bands ready and had put several of them on his clarinet just to get through the performance! He was a brilliant clarinet player! Thx Wes.

I Wes, I was a musician in the British Army and trained at RMSM Kneller Hall. I have watched your channel for a while now and have thoroughly enjoyed watching you. I was trained in woodwind instruments and have thoroughly enjoyed the way you explain repairs , especially on the job when things go wrong just at the wrong time. You explain exactly what musicians have to do in emergency situations. Thanks for doing this and all your permanent fixes
    Hugh from Somerset England.

Best part about those emergency repairs is that they don't create more work for when it goes to the shop for a permanent repair

Wes I have a question. I’m using roo pads and I’m wondering at what weight I should mix my shellac for proper adhesion. I’ve found that store bought cans aren’t quite a strong enough bond. Also, I’ve seen and heard of people using hot glue, is that really a good recommendation? And finally, what do you use for cork adhesion? Or rather what do you recommend?
    Thanks,
    Wil

I'd rather fix the clarinet than make it a wreck with all these knick-knacks.
