I listened to "Run to Me" this morning, and I'm guessing thousands of times since 1972. There are no words for the harmony. Oh, Barry's voice is soft, gentle and perfect, but it takes all three for the awesome blend. There's just nothing better than the 3-part harmony at "Now and then you need someone older..."
Gee Devin…I love your passion….brilliant song…Robins standout….I’ve been to 10 of their concerts over time, always gets an ovation…a song about ‘life’…which affects all of us…thank you so much…!!
Hey Devin, the harmony in this song ...absolutely divine 😇 the Bee Gees never disappoint! "Love so right "and "Alone " are a couple of good songs to show off their awesome voices. 🎼🎶😌
Pure magic! Having Barry and Robin, both of them with such greatness at all. And brother Maurice to land again a heavenly three part harmony. Noone compares to them!
Love the Bee Gees they are the greatest group ever. I have listened to them all my life. Barry and his beautiful wife Linda have been married for 51 years. That certainly is commitment. They have 4 boys and 1daughter. I am amazed a what their lives have accomplished. Love your reactions Devin!!
Love this song. Bee Gees music has been a great comfort to me during my recent illness. This song and "Come on over" have been an invitation to go down the Bee Gees rabbit hole; thanks so much for your joyful and insightful reviews of their music.
THIS is one of my all time FAVORITE Bee Gee's songs❣🦋 I would "like" this video more than once if I could! *Tell your wife to make some Bee Gee's shirts, PLEASE!! 🙏
I have loved this song for years. It is a slow moving ballad of the power of love and devotion. The Bee Gees are up their with the greats. I dedicate this to my late brother Roy.😪
I'm glad you recognized the amazing harmonies in this one. One of my favorites of theirs harmony-wise. The first chorus, "now and then... you need someone older, so darliiiiiii-ihn, you run to meeeeeeeee." Simply HEAVEN. You really want to react to EVERY Bee Gees song? Settle in my friend. The rabbit hole is DEEP. These guys are AWESOME and had a 5 decade recording career.
The best songs are those where Robin and Barry alternate leads like they do here. Barry does the verse and the Robin does the chorus..."Run to me whenever you're lonely, run to me if you need a shoulder". Then Mo joins in with the perfect 3rd harmony. Barry and Robin wrote this, "Lonely Days" and "How can you mend a broken heart" shortly after they got back together after being split for 18 months.
@@Coowallsky - Originally Barry was writing one of the songs himself one night, I can't recall which. Robin came in when he was working on it and Barry asked if he wanted to help him so they worked on both songs together together then calling Maurice to come and add his bits. Like your name. 😁
I love the Bee Gees. Many, many favorite songs but this is not one of them. I think of their song "Tragedy". Love the dynamics. Run to Me is a nice Ballard. Thank you Devin for reacting to all these beautiful songs. God Bless!!
Definitely welcome to the very large rabbit hole that is the Bee Gees. The brothers three way harmony has never been equaled and doubt it will in my life time. I grew up listening to the bee gees and what you hear is pure unadulterated talent. No autotune or any of the touch ups that today's artists rely on. If you get a chance check some of their acoustic / acapella sets or live concerts. I sent my brother an email one day, he cursed me for days for as he put it "sending him down the rabbit hole"! I just giggled. The brothers were prolific song writers, writing for artists such as Diana Ross, Dionne Warwick, Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion, Olivia Newton John. Before he passed Robin had written a classical piece the Titanic requiem I haven't had the heart to listen to it yet maybe it's time I did.
Love to watch your reactions and especially appreciate your appreciating the legendary geniuses that are the Bee Gees and as separate artists that is Barry, Ronin, or Maurice.
Beautiful song, beautiful sound...Super great oldie...I think you would like a group called "Bread", this is type music they do, Beautiful...Thank you Devin, Peace
Devin, check out First of May, both the Bee Gees version and the live performance with Lulu and Maurice singing it as a duet (my favorite version). It's a beautiful song. Enjoy!
You would LOVE their album, “Here at last Bee Gees live.” It is pure and raw and OUTSTANDING! From this song to Jive Talkin’ and more. No auto tune. An amazing live recording.
Ann... Kenny Rogers. Lady..then Islands in the sea with Dolly Parton.. Then Dolly ..I will always Love you.. Then...Dirt road Anthem by Jayson Aldean just sayin👍🏼🌹
I commented on the first when you did today of the Bee Gees but wanted to mention it to you again. The boxer Oscar De La Hoya did a cover for this song and it’s available on RUclips. It’s worth taking a look at! I love your reactions especially with the Bee Gees!

Listen to love so right by the beegees
Thank you, for playing BeeGee's music. There music will always be endless. Never, get tired of hearing them.
Absolutely love this song. When Maurice comes in with his third level of harmony it is just magical
Robin's chorus ain't too shabby either but Mo tops it off.
Yes, Mo brings in a depth that is what you said - magical.
Gives me chills every. Single. Time.

I agree it takes all 3 to make the Bee Gees.
There is absolutely nothing like the three of them together.
It's interesting to see you approaching the BEE GEES in reverse. They had a huge career 10 years before the disco era.
I love their 1960s music.
Please more Bee Gees ❤❤❤

In about a day or so, if I remember right Susie Q?
All 3 of them wrote it.

There's absolutely 💯 no other band that can harmonise like the Bee Gees
Someone older is not necessarily age ,likely wiser or more experienced.
My favorite group! Love this song!
Love this song toolll

Check out the song heartbreaker. They wrote for some but they also tape it . Also the song kid of life is good one.
This is my favorite Bee Gee's song. It's just too short! One more verse would have been great.

Listen....."l love you too much", "One" , "Alone".
