The 1/2 second delay in the throttle is probably a safety feature so the rider can use that 1/2 second to brace yourself. I have the Nanrobot lightning and the throttle is all or nothing. Definitely takes off on you and you can lose control if you’re not ready for that.
When you ride EUC fast you're crouched very low. On a scooter it's the opposite. My deck is 10" off the ground, and I'm 5'11". So when I ride, I'm standing 6'9" and towering over most cars (eye level with trucks) screaming down the road. I like it because you have way better situational awareness and can see much farther down the road.
Thank you for getting the review out! I was nervous when I placed my pre-order without any user reviews, but you've relieved my fears. It's great to hear the scooter is extremely stable at high speeds, I was afraid it was going to be another Nami with death wobble issues at high speeds given the C-style suspension. The adjustable height is being marketed as a big selling feature, but I can't say I see all that much utility in it for me, although I guess it's nice to have the option to adjust it if the need arises. A couple of things I was hoping you touched on were the regen brake testing and a steering damper. Inmotion is said to have the best regen brakes/controller in the business and I've heard elsewhere they should be excellent on this scooter, which significantly reduces the need for mechanical braking (Zoom brakes don't have the best rep). Did you play with the regen braking much, or just turn it off out of the box? I love that you can adjust the front and back independently for fine tuning to your personal needs/taste! Also, I recently read on one of Inmotion's releases that they said the RS has a built-in internal steering damper (which might help with the high level of stability you noted), any signs of an internal damper? The kick stand issue looks like a big miss on their part, but again I'm guessing I'll set the height in the middle anyway and hopefully they address it before shipping the production units out either way. Nothing I can't fix if I have to, but it is something they should have fixed before shipment. The range and speed look solid. GPS speed verification would've been a nice addition to the review. Regardless, I'm sure the max speed and the range is more than enough for me... I don't really care if it's the fastest or the quickest on the market, I'm sure any differences between the hyper scooters at this level are fairly minor. The IP rating looks like it passed the test given that you dunked it, lol! Also glad to see the stem is very rugged. Thanks for really abusing the crap out of it! Some measurements with the scooter broken down would again have been a nice addition (sorry if I missed that in your unboxing video). Also, the front stem looks like it has a fair amount of rake back towards the rider. Is it confining or an issue at all? I'm really looking forward to mine arriving now! Thanks again for the review(s)!!!
Hello, not sure if you're in the US, if so, where did you pre-order from please? Ha, I just heard him say the price on kickstarter, scratch that, lol...
Looks like they’re going after Vsett, even have a similar black and yellow color scheme. My only two design critiques are the half measure stem and adjustable height seems like a gimmick. Both the wolf and Vsett 11 have full dual stems with fork suspension and a less steep angle. Larger/taller riders might find the angle a bit confining, but overall I like the direction they’re going. There’s only a handful of viable hyper scooters at the moment, and I welcome more to the scene.
@@DrWonderEyes True, but most riders won't use the top speed, if ever. Sufficient rake for stability can be achieved with swept handlebars. With that much rake this scooter probably won't appeal to riders taller than 5'10" as the bars will be awkwardly close
I think the 2 most important critical components that they need to address is the puny kickstand and the thin flimsy metal latch holding the folding stem in place. All the other flaws are negligible enough and can be easily remedied with cheap replacements/alternatives such as the head lights.
Price is good and completable to this category! About the throttle delay... It's very serious issue (buy especially high performance scooter), but as you say and understand they will fix it! It's the first high performance scooter for Inmotion and getting in the market very strong!! We will see... 2023 is the year of hi end scooters!😘
The delay is programed in for safety reasons (just like the other mfg's do), but it's awesome they turned the delay off in X mode! It would be nice if they made the delay adjustable in the app. But you're right, it looks like Inmotion has come out swinging!!!
@@Andrew-vt4jthi my friend,🙋 this is different! This scooter has a "delay"..!! Same problem has the most Ultron scooters ( Sinus controllers has this problem) Kaabo and NAMI problem is from thumb throttle "108x WUXING" has a small gap in start but not delay!
The world is noisy I wouldn't apologize for it, seems like everybody apologizes on videos for the noise. Who cares, I can hear you fine and wouldn't have heard any noise if you didn't mention it. Great videos Love this scooter want to buy it 3,500$ equals like I don't know how much Canadian but I couldn't afford it. What makes his scooter so solid is the weight I own a Teverun Fighter 11 cost me over 4,000 Canadian pretty happy with the quality and speed but the app sucks. You're right scooters are not meant for off-roading I don't know why people push for that. Right now I have to carry my scooter up the stairs at over 70 lb is pretty heavy for me at 62 years old so this one over a hundred pounds I would never be able to move it inside. Thank you for this video on the probably the best scooter out there at this moment.
I really enjoyed your review unfortunately I haven't been able to order the scooter everything is soldout I live in France and I hope to get one whenever inmotion produce more scooter like this in a near future.
What was your thoughts on the aggressive rake of the steering stem? It appears to be very intrusive on a riders stance on the deck. Almost forcing you to use the rear foot plate/tail light area.
It's a shame you don't use a thirdparty speedometer app to evaluate the accuracy of the display which historically are very inaccurate and over state the speed.

RS is faster, better build quality, quality controllers, better water resistance, no stem wobble adjustable and best looking scooter on market imo. RS easy.
Question though, why wouldn't you be getting this nice display in the production model, what sense does it make to make these with inferior ones to this??
