Glacier views, turquoise blue lakes and day hikes in New Zealand

In our first month living in New Zealand, we've done several day hikes leading us to the base of Mount Cook, offering glacier views and stopping at some pristine mountain lakes with turquoise blue color.

Hey Anne, some parts reminded me of Garmisch Partenkirchen. Others of Fischland Darss Zingst. The Alps etc. definitely a beautiful place to live. Hugs, Kristina
