Hell Yes. This is so cool. I’ve always been pretty average in art classes I’ve taken. But making mandalas has always come really, really, easily to me. I haven’t done one in a few years, but I’m about to paint one on this coffee table my fiancé and I are debating on getting rid of.

Oh this is so wonderful! Hats off to your patience and hard work to reach this level. Did you specially give request to make such a big wood piece? Or is it available for us to order online somehow? Which primer do you use for making the surface smooth?

Thank you! Great question - Often you can find any of these kind of art supplies that you need simply by googling it - for this piece of wood I googled "large wooden canvas panel for artists" and there were many options.
For primers - I love to use the brand called "golden" for all my mediums. I have a new online course coming out next week about how to paint mandalas (the next step up from my current course about drawing mandalas).
This new course uses acrylic paint and is all about the prepping/priming different surfaces. I think it might be helpful for you after reading your comments!
