Drawing and painting a big detailed mandala

This is definitely the most difficult and detailed drawings i have ever made. It took me a week to film and edit. On this mandala i got to experiment with the "dotting technique" on some parts of the mandala. I used it primarily with gold and white details.
I used a different approach and technique on this mandala as i sketched the whole mandala first. I then filled in the sketch with paint and added smaller details afterwards with either paint or pen. I used some new tools while making the dots, some with small bottles and some with pin needle heads. I don't have the link to the product but i will post a picture of the equipment on my Instagram under highlights: RUclips.
I used a variety of colors to make the mandala eyecatching and lively, but tried to maintain the central colors in focus. I used different shades of blue, I colored some parts in light blue to accentuate the details of the drawing in that area.

Thank you for sharing your Amazing Art. About a year ago, I started drawing regularly again, since I tried my first Mandala, I have not been able to do anything else, waiting for another sketch book which I will use exclusively for Mandalas and zentangles.

Superb. May I know which brand Is the golden colour that you used
For this drawing i used acrylic gold paint from a local store. I can’t remember the brand exactly, but it’s easy to find something similar 🙌🏻😊

How do you segment out each layer, as in make sure that each petal for instance isn't 1 too many or doesn't overlap? If that makes sense...
I divide the circle into equal sections beforehand with the compass and ruler 📏 and then I make small marks along the circle. So when I make the petals I know which dots/marks to draw to and not make them to small or to big 🙌🏻😊

How you draw big circle? With normal rounder I try but it will not much bigamy special objects?
Vidhi Shah my compass can split in a way that makes it possible to make big circles 😊 but you can draw them yourself with a pen and thread 😊

How to take measurements for this big mandala?
I make the size of the circles up as i draw😇for the bigger circles i use a flexible compass and section it with a ruler. The flexible ruler is installed with a pencil on the end and not a pen so i have to overline it with a black pen afterwards 🥰❤️
Beautiful mandala! what are the measurements of each circle. It appears to me as 5cm up to 1cm.
I don’t really know, probably around 1-5cm as you say 😅❤️ i don’t measure the circles diameter when i draw, i just think about which detail i want and then make a circle that will fit 🙏🏼😊

Hey which compass u used in this
Hey ❤️ for the smaller circles i used a compass that has the ability to place a pen in it so I can make the outline of the circle black by placing a black pen in it. But this compass has limitations for the diameter of the circles so I only use this in the beginning. For the bigger circles I used a pencil tip compass that can make circles in larger diameters. I Don’t know the specific brand but it was bought at a local crafts store 😊

Sorry you feel that way. You could always try to adjust the speed on the video down to half when you watch. That way you can watch the video in the speed you feel is comfortable and best for you 😊
