I love that aggressive roar. If I can survive to the pension and if I wouldn't be able to shift my leg over the typical naked bike, then I'm buying this. Totally.
I've been thinking about how an H-pipe arrangement right before the mufflers would sound, I have one with perforatef baffles and it sounds great as-is but I have the urge to modify...
Like the vid dude. I have a yellow 94 Magna that I absolutely love riding. The Magna is an awesome bike for only being a 750. When that tach hits 7 grand you better be holding on. And that Honda V4 is bullit proof. My thumb nail is a pic of my baby.
I just bought a 94 magna but the baffles are missing it is load but makes poping sounds when let off gas while riding but i dont like it any ideas how to fix without replacement new pipes
This is a '94. I am 175cm, after 300km my knees get al little irritated because off the bend, its not a big bike. Putted highway steps on it for the longer straights.
+powerpiep How comfortable is your seat? I have a 97 Honda Magna 750 and my butt gets pretty sore after 2 hours or a couple hundred miles of riding, but I continue to ride because it's so much fun!
Adrian Nadolu Remove baffles, cut it right before the thicker piece, so the baffle is approx 4cm long put them back in. Maybe use some exhaust paste for better a seal.
powerpiep Thank you for the reply, I am actually interested in the jets kit, air filter and any other performance modifications. How about the Metzler tire? Does it offer a good grip?
Adrian Nadolu I'm not sure what kind of jetting I'm running, it's bin a while since I did the mods. I think it was a dynojet kit. K&n filter is a 1;1 replacement. Sprocket sise at front was 15 tooth I think, at the rear a 43 tooth. The tire is absolute shit. The best tire I had an still run is a shinko 777. Sticky enough to pop a wheelie and had a good durability.
powerpiep Thank you for your reply, I am planning on getting new tyres and I bought it with an old set of Dunlops which are very slippery maybe due to the age but in the original size it's only Dunlop or Metzeler that I find. Which one would you go for? I don't want to change size
How big are you? I was looking at cheap bikes and I found one for $1000 and another for $1500 and thinking about getting one but I'm 5 foot 9 and 300 pounds
Curious how it ran after you modified the exhaust. I might either do this or just buy a Cobra exhaust, not sure yet... It sounds great. My stock Magna is too quiet in traffic.
I have a 85 vt 1100 us. Vn 1500 and a intruder 1800.magna and all tha is good bikes i know. But if you are past the small cc... U get a big bike. In cc and size. Like the 1800 intruder.
In fact I'm aiming for a v-max 1700, one day I will buy that thing for sure, but in the meantime I drive this 25 year old magna. I tested a rocket III roadster, but that's a little bit to much 'tank'.
At a distance of 50cm behind this particular bike, 100 DB(A)at 4500 revs is allowed here... but unnessesararly doing that (while at a traffic light) will result in it being declared not road worthy on the spot, without a measurment taken. One wonders which country you all live in.
Do you have experiance with the 3rd gen magna? A 1500/1800 is far to heavy for nice cornering and playing. But you are right about the sound, the big twins sound much fatter, this is a v4 wit 190cc/cylinder, but with far higher rpm's (12.000) it's a whole different experiance. I like a big twin for torque and cruising, but it's not as practical as this machine.
finally someone who rides it like a magna!
I have 1 2003 Harley softail, one Honda Valkyrie, and my 95' Magna is the only bike I feel like I really need to hold on... Lol
@@Darbymitch101 how much faster is the magna than the valkyrie?
This video i keep comin back to even in 2022!
Eu também! Tenho uma Magna 1996! É uma máquina BRUTAL!🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
La mejor moto de todos los tiempos,cc/cc.un saludo desde Durango DGO México.

I didn't like this bike at the beginning, but I'm falling in love with that sound deffinitely :-). Nice video man!
thanx, its a very nice-fun-fast bike :D
Мотоцикл супер, у меня такой !!!
This is one mean machine. Nice bike man!
Yes it is, most fun bike I've owned.
Thanx!
Now riding a xv1700 warrior, it's more comfy, about same performance.
I have the same model, exactly the same sound as I have. great dude! drive safe
Ride... Not drive
I think a custom made 2-to-1 exhaust on each side, using the existing design and only unifying the tips, would make it sound even better.
I've been thinking about how an H-pipe arrangement right before the mufflers would sound, I have one with perforatef baffles and it sounds great as-is but I have the urge to modify...

Sounds like a chainsaw when it unwinds

holy smoke, that bike does screw. more than my 86 700. thats a monster. you ride pretty good!
+grabba73 thanx man!

i recommend a test drive ;)

For me the saddle is fine, but im not that heavy (62kg). And there is always the option for a corbin seat. ;)
ótimo vídeo, parabéns,mais um inscrito.
If I didn't know better, I would say that this thing is an aggressive vertical twin and not a V4 with a 90 degree angle.
ОТЛИЧНЫЙ МОТО!!!! хОЧУ СЕБЕ ТАКОЙ. жАЛЬ ЧТО У НАС ЦЕНЫ ЛУПЯТ НА НИХ .
powerpiep can I have more info about the modifications you made? I live in Brussels.

I think I had some Avon tires in the stock sizes once.
Why stock size btw?
How big are you? I was looking at cheap bikes and I found one for $1000 and another for $1500 and thinking about getting one but I'm 5 foot 9 and 300 pounds

It ran superb, but it had a jet kit.
A cobra exhaust is pretty rare.
What exhaust is this? I have a sabre with the v45!

We just don't give many fuks about these absurd rules 😅
@@powerpiep Our authorities prefer the bike to move, instead of howling like that. I now see what they mean.

poor 4 cil. at V.. why?
go bay yamaha r1 not chopper ,crayze Men )
1500 cc og 1800 cc is better with more fat sound. This is a boys bike.
Do you have experiance with the 3rd gen magna?

Magna's are similar in acceleration to a vtx1800.
No 1500 v twin can touch it
Until your fat 1500 or 1800 is 200m behind after 5 seconds 🤣🤣🤣
