Love that you are worried about a fellow reactor, first of all. Secondly, that you gave Angelina a second chance after your first reaction. She can tackle ANY genre and do it justice. And in third place, don't worry at all about the ugly comments from people who cannot stand one single criticism about Angelina. She's just a person who sings amazingly well. In my mind, a voice of the century but she's not flawless. She has some tiny oops here and there and if the fans are listening to honest opinion they have to take them. Yes sometimes Angelina is Amy Winehouse, also Whitney Houston, Billie Holiday, Adele, Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Sinatra or whatever. She is all in one. Sometimes she singing deep notes, high notes, with or without vibrato, vibrato in different tempo dosen't matter in lower or higher range, sometimes she is singing raspy smokey or soft style include breathe or without, sometimes she ist changing the keys inside the same song, sometimes she ist singing with a lot of pressure, sometimes very silent but last and not least, she has an incredible vocal range and can transfer feelings like only few singers can do that. So on my opinion, she is not only singing, together with all her technic and feelings, she is creating a kind of Artwork with her voice. ( Sorry my english, I am not a native speaker )

Comparing her to Amy Winehouse isnt a mistace,because Angelina finds it flattering when people tell her she sounds quite abit like Amy singing,and that they even slightly look like eachother. Angelina has embraced Amys songs (several of them),and done some official covers allready by her. There are vocal coaches etc that says the same thing,that Angelina reminds them of Amy. So you are not the first one,neither will you be the last one to say just that. If you have been "attacked" by people portraying themselfs as Angelina "fans",they most likely arent.... There has been a smaller amount of just trolls and haters from other peoples communities,trying to spread hate on Angelina Jordan reactions. They have attacked people for comparing Angelina to Amy,thats why it popped into my mind. Thoose are just better left being fully ignored ;)

There have been many reactors leaving the reacting because the rules are changing, but the main thing is one day everything is fine, the next they have received violation notices, or in some cases getting shut down and not doing anything differently. Some are not just shut down .but also having their funds confiscated. There is a lot of uncertainty these days. Back to Angelina, I think the problem is Amy was a woman when she hit it big and had already gone through the phases of development. Angelina was and is still developing, but she has been doing it in public. I don't know about you but when i was growing up I always wanted to be like whoever was the star of whatever sport was in season. It took me awhile to learn that I was better off incorporating the rules according to the characteristics I possessed. She is still learning how good she is. She may sing for a little while like a certain singer she may be listening to, but sooner than later she has distilled the fundamental that governs any singer and then she incorporates the fundamental and uses her talent to establish it. That is how you build your sound. Most singers get to try out things away from prying eyes and make mistakes that they correct on their own. Not her everything she does people get to remark on, and they maybe right but maybe some consideration should be bestowed on the singer. Well that took way to many words to get to the point, and I'm still not sure I made one. So before I make a bigger mess of things, if that's possible, I am off.

Now it is better to get popular through the internet and get a fan base, then when you do sign with someone it is on your terms. Has raised millions millions of dollars for charity. Performed for heads of states. Toured all over Europe, Asia, Middle East. Japan Korea etc. No she will not disappear she is already here. She only does charity events as she is thirteen. All major companies have tried to sign her. She and her parents have refused all except charity events. You owe yourself to check her out.

She has been performing at concerts since she was 7 and her voice has been refined and improved over the years. Sorry but I don't like this version, IMHO she missed several key timing points and her tone was off too often. And I could not understand her sometime either. So 4 out of 10 from me. No one ever listens to Zathras. Quite mad, they say. It is good that Zathras does not mind. He's even grown to like it. Oh yes.

My Aunt Lulu, coached many, many teen and pre-teen's, for productions like Joseph and the amazing technicolor dream coat, etc. I was on hand to witness the training and final results. So I have some idea of the capability of voices of that age. My voice was great before puberty, after not so good. Her rendition of "I put a spell on you", is spot on timing exact and tonal quality excellent.

People who makes covers just as the original has nothing to bring to the table, and they only will be compared to the original....besides she was on point and it was amazing. Her rendition of "I put a spell on you", is spot on timing exact and tonal quality excellent.
I have heard many opinions contrary to yours from vocal coaches and singers,so I'll go with the majority on this one.
Andrew Barnett Wow, what makes you the master of music and singing technique? She didnt miss anything at all. This is her version and she can do it as she wants. People who makes covers just as the original has nothing to bring to the table, and they only will be compared to the original....besides she was on point and it was amazing. She is Norwegian...can you sing in Norwegian? So what if you couldnt hear all words...she is 13. Some people judge her as if she has been a. professional singer for 40 years. 🧐

You think she was fantastic in this recording, good for you. If you read my original message to Lisa, I say I don't like this version. And then I said why. That's how people have conversations about things. No one has asked what did I miss or where was the timing off, and about the tone, so I guess you all saw it too, but because she is 13 in the recording and Norwegian, its OK.
And no one mentioned the Babylon 5 reference either. So I'll translate that for you. What it means is My Opinion is ignored, and they say I'm quite mad to have one in difference to "everyone". But I can live with not being part of the herd of sheep.
