Couldn't tell if you preloaded at the launch but slipping the clutch more will help with the wheel hop with street tires at the track

It’s hard for me to see which one is the 1/8 and 1/4 because this track is different than most I run at. The cones or flags would be at the finish line and they weren’t this time. I do it every time I run there 😂

Some slicks an preload at all times when launching. Plenty of these cars running fast with stock axles. Good luck!
These are the small axles not not the type-s thick stock axles.
For some reason you'll never know, there's a reason why your axle broke. Could have turned out worse. Glad you had a good time anyway. God bless you and your family brother 🙏
Yea i know. The lane I got in is the super sticky lane that all the 8 second cars run in so it was nice and warmed up and sticky 😂

I always had issues hitting 3rd gear at higher rpms on my ep3 as well. Dang! Must have been a factory defect. The only axle i ever broke in mine wass from hitting an animal at highway speed.
Yea this transmission needs a rebuild soon because it only does it high rpm when trying to power shift so I have to granny shift that gear lol
Breaking is part of the game for sure....but the under glow would look nice under that tow truck tho

Street tires are always hard on axels. you gotta really slip the clutch
Yea I don’t typically do clutch slip launches and that’s my problem 😂
My fist time down little river I let off at the same spot and ran a 12.1 I needed a helmet to run again but didn’t have have one. So I’m sure I have high 11’s. In it for sure

I’m glad I’m not the only one. I did that in my 13s d series but I knew that d series had a high 12 in it but I kept thinking the track was running out. As I’m sure you know little river don’t have much stopping area lol

Good runs sucks bout the axel but leSt that was the only issue.
Yea tends to only be axle issues when I go but hey I’m hard on axles it’s okay lol
@@TexasHondaChannel had a friend that had a boosted ef sedan and kept breaking them even the gator brand aftermarket ones rated for like 500hp. N he wasn't running but maybe 400 to the wheels
We have to get you to start preloading. Or you're going to keep breaking axles and massive wheel hop
Yup I refuse to do that so it’s my own fault. I know what I should be doing but i guess I’ll keep breaking them. I’m not good at all that preload stuff. Never ever got good results doing it. I at least get a pass or 2 with my terrible driving habit. With preload I end up 2-3 seconds slower because I am not good at it no matter how much I practice and no matter how many clutches i go through lol
@TexasHondaChannel it took me alot of passes to learn the balance. Just like everything else in life my friend, it's all about practice and determination
Why build up a 4 Cyl when the V6 Honda engine is muct faster to begin with?
Because i like to. Simple enough. Plus I love me some J series I have had plenty and want to do a J swap on something some day soon if God wills. I enjoy these 4 cylinder and it’s not always about the power for me. It’s about having fun and enjoying hard work
EP3 is bad for axles, get some 500hp insaneshafts

Yea I don’t have that kinda money just to have fun with. I know what I need but my bank don’t care what I need it it don’t have the funds 😂
Better tires = more broken axle ,spinning breaks less parts but also the sudden clutch dump can break them too , the shock . so more foot work less broken parts . Almost have to ride the clutch out almost like a fast role out the hole and definitely preload

Nope that’s another reason it pops cv like crazy. All the power goes to one side or the other. I usually break passenger side but it was driver side this time I was shocked lol
