Dude this was absolute incredible! I would honestly watch a full series about this world and this character because of how investing this was. Seriously great work!
@@GrumpyElite is this in the halo universe or is the sangheili just a stand in. Cause we know he's mutated, but is he mutated into a sangheili? Or is this a completely different universe form halo entirely...
So glad RUclips randomly recommended this to me. Some great story telling and use of everything reach has to offer to give off that apocalyptic vibe. I'm especially amazed you managed to make the hand to hand combat really fun to watch. Well done!
I might sound like a boomer, but they really dont make halo content like this anymore. Everyone is trying to be like a rvb rip off without being actually funny. And here, we have a unique short film that pushes what you can make in Reach. Hope to see a possible sequel cus you got something good going here.
This machinima is fuckin superb, besides some iffy camera angles this was a masterpiece from start to finish. It has so much unexpected gruesome moments and the combat was so fun to watch, plus there was very little editing and most of the film was made from theatre mode alone. Also, there was very little character dialogue for the elite which makes his story so much more of a mystery as is the set piece of an apocalyptic wasteland, which I do admit is quite cliche but you found a way to make feel so...Original. This is one of the best true machinima's I have seen in a very long time and I hope this turns into a series
The camera angles at 4:55 to 6:00 we're kind of weird and panning off the elite, which I know is meant to build awareness but it felt a bit weird and close-up compared to the previously wide and open camera angles. Besides that it sometimes feels like the camera is too close up but hey, that gives the film it's charm
I've been craving a good zombie or post apocypse story since Running Dead 2. No one has really lived up to the hype of that series. This video is the closest I've gotten to the same enjoyment i got from knigthmarefilm's content. I really hope you make more like this.
Absolutely fantastic directing and writing on your part, the way you mixed the sounds with the halo actions to add to the realism (intense angles, crunching of the foot, falling backwards naturally) and the cinematography and movements of everything just looked so well thought out. You crushed it. Can’t wait for more! And I totally relate to the pain of being stuck in a project loop, I’m glad you got your closure with this project and got to share it with us :)
I wonder if you’ll go into more depth with forge mode to help make some unique places to spice the vanilla maps up like houses or even like slaver camps just saying
Might have gotten recommended to me by the algorithm a year late, but damn, what a good watch this was. Amazing work, can't wait to see what else there is! Subbed!
extremally well written, choreographed and directed, the camera work was insanely good, just needed a little more proper eye direction, fantastic work!
Sequel pls pls, i need more. There isn't a whole lot of good dramatic machinimas but this is one of the few that are actually really good. Please consider making a continuation or at the very least make more in this style.
So far so good. Got a few questions though: So, Victor, the "Sangheili" is actually a mutated human. Does this mean the model is just more like a stand-in for his non-human form and the story does not actually take place in the Halo universe? Or did he actually mutate into a Sangheili? Also, depending on the answer on the first question, I am going to assume that those "Spartans" are not really Spartans, regardless of this story taking place in the Halo universe.
Essentially yeah, it's just a stand in for a mutated character. This takes place more in our reality than the halo universe. I'll usually put a disclaimer at the beginning of my machinima if does take place in Halo. The "Spartans" are just regular people in this one.
damn this was fuckin awesome man... gives me so much RvB nostalgia but fucking better dude.. if part 2 is in the making i'm for sure sticking around to watch it
New halo series right here: A stranded sangheili soldier tries to survive the harsh weather of the now glassed planet reach while searching for a way off planet and any other survivors of his invading force
I can't believe how captivating this was. Excellent work.💙 The voice acting was very well done too. Definitely can't wait to see more of this if it continues.
I do have plans for a continuation, currently working on the script for the sequel. But it would happen in 2023 due to trying to sort out irl stuff, mostly moving.
Great work man! This was an amazing watch, and I'm glad RUclips Recommended it! Although, I'm a little confused, so do correct me if I'm wrong. Was the Elite originally human, and was mutated into an elite? Or something else?
Without getting into spoilers (as i am writing a sequel that answers this) the world this takes place in, is set 100 years after a nuclear war that almost destroys the earth. The main character was human that survived by was mutated into an elite looking mutant.
Dude this was absolute incredible! I would honestly watch a full series about this world and this character because of how investing this was. Seriously great work!
We both don’t fight each other’s but we both end up getting killed best episode
Ahh, another thing is rising to fill the hole left by Red Vs Blue, I look forward to seeing what this becomes
a machinima with an elite as the main character, that's rare, congrats
This was really cool to watch. Hope to see a continuation with the main elite, he's very interesting.
There might be a part 2 seening a lot of people liked this.

Therussinbadger would agree
Yes?
The cinematography and the voice acting are on point, what a great machinima
Hope thier will be a second one I really liked this
I was going to do a part 2 if this got enough attention, which so far it has.
So an elite is the main character finally yes love this
I absolutely adore everything about this! From the cinematography to the fallout new Vegas-like atmosphere, this definitely hits the spot!
Excellent work! Way better than... some other show that came out recently...
Haven't seen stuff like this in a while good work
thx

this has to be one of the highest production values i've ever scene in a machinima
Bravo, this honestly is one of the best machcinima I've ever seen.
That ending seems like a setup for sequel? hmmmmmmmmmmm
Kinda ye, its if i want to do a continuation i have something to work off of.

Thanks. Probably not a series, but I am currently writing a sequel to this.

I have plans to make a sequel and maybe a third entry if that does well, but those are things that may come out late this year or in 2023.

Best machinima I've watched since red vs blue and I can't wait to see more
This is amazing. I would watch an entire series of this. Keep up the good work boss
All of the Halo Infinite machinimas combined can't compare to a really good Reach machinima.
9:10 cwunchy
a lot of crunch
Beautiful machinima
thxs
I hope there’s a part two coming in the possible future it’s a very good start to a series or something like that (:
Please make an ep 2
Wow, the story telling and cinematography is actually better than some big budget shit made today. Cuddos
I havent found a good machinima in a long time, thank you so much for making this. You earned a sub.
deadass better than most machinimas i've ever watched wtf
Legendary
21:40, you can see a spartan running around in the bottom right, didn't catch that during editing and surprised no one else has.
Damn, this is amazing! The writing was great and so was the use of the game, I’d love to see a continuation if you make it!
Earned my subscription man
Got them fallout vibes.
Yep, played a lot of Fallout 4 when i made the script.
