Actually ghillie, as someone who studies aviation, and military technology, I can confirm that the tight turn circle is pretty accurate. Obviously in gta it's really tight because of how flying is scaled down in this game. But A-10s can hold their own against most planes. If they can force an opponent into a rate fight, (a dogfight "move" where two planes are relying on how fast they can turn) they could win 9/10 times. Now the A-10 is slow. Really slow compared to most fighters. And it's thrust/weight ratio is POOR. So if you pull vertical upwards. Make it to where it can maintain it's turn circle horizontally, but it can't go up or else it will stall. This will balance it by making players strategize like real pilots, and use boom and zoom tactics. Also, make the tail reinforced. To where the ailerons, and rudders are not as susceptible to breaking. other than that, I have no issue with anything else in this video. It's great. Keep up the good work, broski!
Would you think buffing flares would help (to all planes not just the a10) so you cant just spam missiles and it will help people stratigize and not just go behind and spam 30/infinite missiles

A-10 is designed to destroy ground troops and will turn a tank into Swiss cheese in seconds so this rework is actually a major improvement for it to do its irl job
Not really the troops part, but the tanks yes. An A10 is mainly for anti-tank capability. The rounds are big enough to dust a human being, and are extremely overkill. I'm not saying they can't work against infantry, but that their primary use is again heavily armored vehicles.
i dont see how, ghillie nerf the handing. that means if the pyro or lazer gets behind you they win automatically because the b11 would not turn good enough. only the ROF needs to be changed the handling is perfect.

The Ruiner 2000 should have 20 to 30 missiles like all other weaponized vehicles, and have armor equal to the Stromberg... Otherwise the regular Ruiner is such a useless joke

Also, having bought the B11 myself, I can't help but feel like it will stay barely usable as it is because it leaves me wanting to spend more money on something better later.

The lazer and hydra are both good at griefing but you rarely ever see hydras anymore, it's always a lazer when you see a jet. You never see the OG oppressor anymore. Ever wonder why money glitches are patched super quick but stuff like the titan glitch remains in the game for literal years? The entire GTAO economy is designed to encourage shark card sales.

@@Sandalphon36 well neither f 22 or f 35 are dog fighters so it might be bit more agile but compare to a dog fighter like the russian SU 35 and it wont be able to do much in a dog fight. Also the turn rates for airplanes in game are veeeeeery unrealistic but because of the speed the in game planes are flying at its understandable.
The funny part about that is that because of Rockstar's method of changing names, they technically changed the whole classification of the plane, as the 'A' in A-10 shows that it's an Attack aircraft meant for air-to-ground operations, whereas 'B' refers to bomber aircraft.
Just imagine the Cannon on the B-11 (reworked) having a slight spread of the Cannon if used for a few seconds (like how an automatic weapon does) that would might make the B-11 more rewarding on actually hitting the target. But if this change ever comes to fruition, the Hydra and Lazer needs their cannons blast radius much smaller to even change how jet griefers go about their business. I hope to see the Molotok next.
Your opinions on the Oppressor MK2 would definitely be interesting as a next episode. I think it could be fixed by giving it tiny lock on versions of the rc tank that deal 0.25 of it’s current damage with very little splash damage. They still have very good tracking but half of it’s currently lock on range, 0.5 overall range and 0.75 of it’s velocity. These changes could balance it’s use in ground pvp as it forces the MK2 to get close to it’s targets and be precise. Instead of waiting for a lock on while flying around or spamming missiles out of lock on range. It would also fix dogfighting due to the decrease in the rocket’s range, velocity and damage. The MK2 could still defend it’s self if it gets attacked but it’s griefing capabilities would be drastically reduced.
I think missiles as Anti air in gta Online is just trash tbh. A jet can just do circles 4 until it catches the cherno in a reload or the jet will just 90 degree dive bomb from high alt and you’re dead.
Should also change the cannon sound by adding a delay depending on how far away you are from the gun. Ex: close to the gun, no delay. Far away/on ground, delay to add intimidation factor.
The real life A-10 isn't really a "dogfighter" per se, but it has more maneuverability than a lot of fighters and is surprisingly dangerous in a turn-fight. There have been cases of F-15s going up against A-10s in simulator fighters during Red Flag and whatnot and generally the opposition doesn't do well against A-10s if they are using guns or heatseekers at visual range because it's meant to go slow(er) and quickly turn and pull away (and A-10s can carry Sidewinders). The issue is that fighters have the energy advantage and can just dictate when and where to have the fight, and can break off and just run and come back. And, of course, the A-10 can't do that. The only time this would really happen if the A-10 and aggressor met each other by accident while the A-10 was doing its thing. And it would be over very quick, either with the A-10 pilot killing the aggressor or the aggressor quickly peeling out and getting away to then easily kill the A-10.
Honestly this whole b11 buff sounds more like a flip off to explosive sniper rounds rather than an actual buff insane armor with better turning and cannons no way this is just a fixing a broken plane

Possible Vehicles: ( In no particular order) - The Oppressor mk2 ( No Explanation Needed) - The Weaponised Tampa ( Lack of Armour and Inconsistent weapons) - Stealth Annihilator ( Pretty much every thing) - The Flak cannon or chernobog ( The lack of armour, that’s about it) - The Valkyrie ( No armour and Weak side machine guns) - The volatol ( Stronger bombs like the mission, armour equal to at least the b11) - The bombushka ( Massive armour increase similar to the avenger, fixed cannons, stronger acceleration)
I know you probably got this Idea from the loading times fix that made the news and R* is now trying to implement this, so some people could argue this is not a new idea. but PLEASE keep these coming. This is a REALLY good way of something unique that could send your channel into the millions and maybe change the way R* interacts with their community. And to be honest they need to change that....
Ooh, yes please! It’s so sad that it’s not an effective vehicle outside of heists, and even then, the vigilante or toreador work better because of homing missiles. I would like to see a change to the rear mortar. It can’t do anything that proxies or missiles can’t do.

Personally I WOULD LOVE to get a buff on targeting with vehicles like helis, I I’m sick and tired of trying to use a fun vehicle like the f1 hunter but then get clapped by a insta spawning bike with a small hit box and perfect missiles, it’s just not cool
I'd sacrifice the homing and barrage just for that cannon buff. Would also add a strafing run mode which slows you more but also reduces sensitivity so you can get a nice strafe

Damn, it's the only plane with barrage and you want to remove it? This is just going to be Lazer 2.0. I mean, isn't barrage and bombs enough for ground killing? Cannon is perfect, it's balanced, it would be too easy to kill ground people with it and guess what? B11 griefer then. People don't use it for griefing because it's way harder.
The APC Missile Barrage, increase fire rate and ammo capacity, it doesn’t have lock on at all so free aiming and perhaps making the missile travel speeds slightly faster could make it more effective than its default cannon, which players prefer to use because it’s far more accurate and has infinite ammo.
The thing is that this game is traversed by tumor. From the unrealistic flying things (that aren't supposed to fly) that can spam highly aggressive missiles and have countermeasures to the cars that can do sci-fi stuff and of course can spam highly aggressive missiles too. I think it would be a better game if there weren't such unrealistic vehicles (often referred as noob vehicles), space cannons, or game mechanics like teleport, EWO, passive, off radar. Here an example: I learned to fly attack-helicopters (a lot of effort and training) and I'm pretty confident with my skills in the Akula. I use barrage missiles and that works pretty well. So if I'm flying around there comes a guy on a flying motorcycle and spams 5 missiles in my direction by pressing a button 5 times. However, I have to aim at him manually to get him first. And guess why that doesn't work: he was in a ghost organization and I didn't knew him coming. The skillgap compression in this game is horrible. I just wanna say that I don't even know where to start to balance this game - it's messed up. The community itself could balance it but not a company that only cares about Sharkcards. I love this game but it is pretty sad to see how pure greed urges a company to ruin their product and the customers experience.

The fact YOU can do this in a matter of hours is ridiculous, and R* takes a billion years to rebalance shit, personally I would like to see you rebalance large planes, my suggestions Volatol (bigger bombs, stealth capabilities, stronger machine guns for copilots, beeper for missile lock ons) Make it basically like the volatol from the Act 3 Air Defenses mission basically Bombushka (faster flight speed, larger bombs, faster turning) This would make the plane better suited for close air support basically Savage (stronger armor and flight speed increase, reduce RPM of explosive cannon, reduce blast radius of explosive cannon) This would reward players with their accuracy instead of spraying like a lazer jet or hydra just like the b11 in this video
Id say the range should be just one step further, 800, but also make the gun sound louder, maybe with a slight delay to the round impact just so that at least it is also an audiable warning to those not aware of the radar when one comes flys by them for a strafe. Kinda like in TBOGT online you could hear an APC firing from the other side of the park which gave myself plenty of time to prepare to get away or fight it if with friends.
It literally could not get easier for them. You gave R* the exact numbers to make the jet balanced and it would take them literally less than 3 minutes to change it. What a lazy company.
I know to a lot of people the handling seems unrealistic but after a lot of discussion with my buddy who flies the A-10 we’ve come to the conclusion that the handling is accurate in game as is. Sure the plane is slow but most pilots who fly it will tell you it’s extremely maneuverable at low speeds. Like wicked maneuverability
They should place vehicles focused on air defense, like an APC, however with the remote minigun used in the armored Tampa, but inverted the viewing angle. The armored Tampa, in addition to having a very poor resistance to missiles, also has a very bad upward angle. The remote minigun would be good for use in armored vehicles but having a bad angle down but to shoot upwards would be great. It would be nice to have something like the Battlefield AA but with a limited angle of fire to avoid being used to destroy ground vehicles or being used by griefers and KD Wariors, being really more for defense.
One thing I really wish was that the cannon aimed slightly down. The A10 is the supreme anti-ground aircraft, and it naturally aims slightly downwards.
On PS4 I've noticed some graphical changes, just little details that are cleaner and crisper such as the fog drifts across the streets etc I've also noticed an NPC Buzzard (not weaponised) flying around upper Vinewood and the Casino with erratic flight paths which up until a couple of months ago wasn't in the game before.

yes. Also, would ya' be so kind as to do the Molotok at some point? Its UB-35-57 rocket pods have a much higher fire rate and do not shoot homing missiles, so I think it'd make a great attacker/fighter if it had its speed buffed significantly at 2k feet, akin to that of a speed glitch, at the cost of having the worst handling out of any plane in the game. A true 'boom & zoomer' if you will, since we don't have one in-game right now.
As an Air Force geek I really think Rockstar should listen to what you did I also think they should make the sound of the gun more realistic to the actual A10

Remove homing option from all oppressors. Increase durability of chernobog, kuruma, Vigilante, Thruster. Add countermeasures to Akula. Increase bullet protection on fully armored vehicles to resemble protection of kuruma (i.e. nightshark, insurgents, apc, toreador, stromberg). Remove armor on ZR380 windshield. Increase speed of deluxo. Small and fire resistance on Savage, Hunter, Akula. Cargobob has Increased cable length or electromagnet option as seen during first heist. Cargobob is based on the CH-47 Chinook which can land on water (been in one). All ballistic helmets improve bullet resistance to head. Terrorbyte/buzzard/Akula missile tracking. I miss anything?
i 1000% agree with this, the a-10 is a air to ground aircraft, a gun with a plan attached, but one think i would do is get rid of the missiles, if it has bombs and a cannon like this than it really wouldn't need it, like you said, is not a air to air fighter.
If it was actually like this in game it would be a ton of fun to use, Rockstar really needs to make those changes because in game this thing currently struggles to effectively pull off any sort of CAS.
i am not much of a plane/fighting type of guy, but i am into cars, and i totally agree that rockstar is absolutely nonsense when it come to stats and balancing. all the cars that are meant to have good top speed in real life have crappy top speeds in gta and some cars that are just not notable irl for anything can have both incredible top speed and also handling in gta. kinda wished rockstar can just stop putting out whatever updates they are trying to push and focus on a single major balancing patch to make everything more normal.
Honestly, if it were possible, along with making a stronger turret, it should have a bullet spread rather than a straight-forward shot, because the actual A-10 is designed to fly fast, but it needs to be flying straight in order to actually fire efficiently.

Fun fact if the a10 could dogfight the a10 is a maneuverable plane it has to be to be able to engage as fast as it can. There’s a general rule of thumb don’t get within 2 miles of a a10 and never try to rate fight them Bc there slower and have a smaller turn radius

To be fair the developers clearly smoke crack before making buffs and nerfs which was just and idea at first but it seems they’ve become addicted
Balancing on this game is all built around shark card sales. That's why the mk2 remains despite the entire community complaining about it.

Irl the A10 can absolutely turn up its own ass, it definitely has the agility that rockstar gave it.
It won in a simulated dogfight against an F16. I believe there's even a video of it.

the only jet in the US arsenal that can out-turn it is the F-22, even then it has to kill most of its speed.
@@Sandalphon36 well neither f 22 or f 35 are dog fighters so it might be bit more agile but compare to a dog fighter like the russian SU 35 and it wont be able to do much in a dog fight. Also the turn rates for airplanes in game are veeeeeery unrealistic but because of the speed the in game planes are flying at its understandable.

The funny part about that is that because of Rockstar's method of changing names, they technically changed the whole classification of the plane, as the 'A' in A-10 shows that it's an Attack aircraft meant for air-to-ground operations, whereas 'B' refers to bomber aircraft.

Just imagine the Cannon on the B-11 (reworked) having a slight spread of the Cannon if used for a few seconds (like how an automatic weapon does) that would might make the B-11 more rewarding on actually hitting the target.

Your opinions on the Oppressor MK2 would definitely be interesting as a next episode.
I think it could be fixed by giving it tiny lock on versions of the rc tank that deal 0.25 of it’s current damage with very little splash damage. They still have very good tracking but half of it’s currently lock on range, 0.5 overall range and 0.75 of it’s velocity.
These changes could balance it’s use in ground pvp as it forces the MK2 to get close to it’s targets and be precise. Instead of waiting for a lock on while flying around or spamming missiles out of lock on range.
It would also fix dogfighting due to the decrease in the rocket’s range, velocity and damage. The MK2 could still defend it’s self if it gets attacked but it’s griefing capabilities would be drastically reduced.

I think missiles as Anti air in gta Online is just trash tbh. A jet can just do circles 4 until it catches the cherno in a reload or the jet will just 90 degree dive bomb from high alt and you’re dead.
Should also change the cannon sound by adding a delay depending on how far away you are from the gun. Ex: close to the gun, no delay. Far away/on ground, delay to add intimidation factor.

The real life A-10 isn't really a "dogfighter" per se, but it has more maneuverability than a lot of fighters and is surprisingly dangerous in a turn-fight. There have been cases of F-15s going up against A-10s in simulator fighters during Red Flag and whatnot and generally the opposition doesn't do well against A-10s if they are using guns or heatseekers at visual range because it's meant to go slow(er) and quickly turn and pull away (and A-10s can carry Sidewinders). The issue is that fighters have the energy advantage and can just dictate when and where to have the fight, and can break off and just run and come back. And, of course, the A-10 can't do that. The only time this would really happen if the A-10 and aggressor met each other by accident while the A-10 was doing its thing. And it would be over very quick, either with the A-10 pilot killing the aggressor or the aggressor quickly peeling out and getting away to then easily kill the A-10.
Just add to the armor, cannon, speed, and you’re golden! It’s not like a flying bike with the best homing Missiles in the game anyways...

- The Oppressor mk2 ( No Explanation Needed)
- The Weaponised Tampa ( Lack of Armour and Inconsistent weapons)
- Stealth Annihilator ( Pretty much every thing)
- The Flak cannon or chernobog ( The lack of armour, that’s about it)
- The Valkyrie ( No armour and Weak side machine guns)
- The volatol ( Stronger bombs like the mission, armour equal to at least the b11)
- The bombushka ( Massive armour increase similar to the avenger, fixed cannons, stronger acceleration)
There is too much shit to fix in this game that I had a stroke trying to pick something
I know you probably got this Idea from the loading times fix that made the news and R* is now trying to implement this, so some people could argue this is not a new idea. but PLEASE keep these coming. This is a REALLY good way of something unique that could send your channel into the millions and maybe change the way R* interacts with their community. And to be honest they need to change that....

I'd sacrifice the homing and barrage just for that cannon buff. Would also add a strafing run mode which slows you more but also reduces sensitivity so you can get a nice strafe

Damn, it's the only plane with barrage and you want to remove it? This is just going to be Lazer 2.0. I mean, isn't barrage and bombs enough for ground killing? Cannon is perfect, it's balanced, it would be too easy to kill ground people with it and guess what? B11 griefer then. People don't use it for griefing because it's way harder.
The APC Missile Barrage, increase fire rate and ammo capacity, it doesn’t have lock on at all so free aiming and perhaps making the missile travel speeds slightly faster could make it more effective than its default cannon, which players prefer to use because it’s far more accurate and has infinite ammo.

The thing is that this game is traversed by tumor. From the unrealistic flying things (that aren't supposed to fly) that can spam highly aggressive missiles and have countermeasures to the cars that can do sci-fi stuff and of course can spam highly aggressive missiles too. I think it would be a better game if there weren't such unrealistic vehicles (often referred as noob vehicles), space cannons, or game mechanics like teleport, EWO, passive, off radar.
Here an example:
I learned to fly attack-helicopters (a lot of effort and training) and I'm pretty confident with my skills in the Akula. I use barrage missiles and that works pretty well. So if I'm flying around there comes a guy on a flying motorcycle and spams 5 missiles in my direction by pressing a button 5 times. However, I have to aim at him manually to get him first. And guess why that doesn't work: he was in a ghost organization and I didn't knew him coming.
The skillgap compression in this game is horrible. I just wanna say that I don't even know where to start to balance this game - it's messed up. The community itself could balance it but not a company that only cares about Sharkcards. I love this game but it is pretty sad to see how pure greed urges a company to ruin their product and the customers experience.

This was amazing! The fact YOU can do this in a matter of hours is ridiculous, and R* takes a billion years to rebalance shit, personally I would like to see you rebalance large planes, my suggestions
Volatol (bigger bombs, stealth capabilities, stronger machine guns for copilots, beeper for missile lock ons) Make it basically like the volatol from the Act 3 Air Defenses mission basically
Bombushka (faster flight speed, larger bombs, faster turning) This would make the plane better suited for close air support basically
Savage (stronger armor and flight speed increase, reduce RPM of explosive cannon, reduce blast radius of explosive cannon) This would reward players with their accuracy instead of spraying like a lazer jet or hydra just like the b11 in this video

Id say the range should be just one step further, 800, but also make the gun sound louder, maybe with a slight delay to the round impact just so that at least it is also an audiable warning to those not aware of the radar when one comes flys by them for a strafe.
Kinda like in TBOGT online you could hear an APC firing from the other side of the park which gave myself plenty of time to prepare to get away or fight it if with friends.

I know to a lot of people the handling seems unrealistic but after a lot of discussion with my buddy who flies the A-10 we’ve come to the conclusion that the handling is accurate in game as is. Sure the plane is slow but most pilots who fly it will tell you it’s extremely maneuverable at low speeds. Like wicked maneuverability

They should place vehicles focused on air defense, like an APC, however with the remote minigun used in the armored Tampa, but inverted the viewing angle. The armored Tampa, in addition to having a very poor resistance to missiles, also has a very bad upward angle. The remote minigun would be good for use in armored vehicles but having a bad angle down but to shoot upwards would be great. It would be nice to have something like the Battlefield AA but with a limited angle of fire to avoid being used to destroy ground vehicles or being used by griefers and KD Wariors, being really more for defense.
Helicopters should behave like helicopters and be able to yield more when moving the stick forward.
One thing I really wish was that the cannon aimed slightly down. The A10 is the supreme anti-ground aircraft, and it naturally aims slightly downwards.

On PS4 I've noticed some graphical changes, just little details that are cleaner and crisper such as the fog drifts across the streets etc
I've also noticed an NPC Buzzard (not weaponised) flying around upper Vinewood and the Casino with erratic flight paths which up until a couple of months ago wasn't in the game before.

Also, would ya' be so kind as to do the Molotok at some point? Its UB-35-57 rocket pods have a much higher fire rate and do not shoot homing missiles, so I think it'd make a great attacker/fighter if it had its speed buffed significantly at 2k feet, akin to that of a speed glitch, at the cost of having the worst handling out of any plane in the game. A true 'boom & zoomer' if you will, since we don't have one in-game right now.

- Reduce the explosive damage with vehicles with small missiles (Oppressor mk1 and mk2, Deluxo)
- Explosive canon in Annihilator helicopter (like GTA IV version)
- Increase fire rate missiles of Buzzard chopper (GTA IV TBOGT)

Remove homing option from all oppressors. Increase durability of chernobog, kuruma, Vigilante, Thruster. Add countermeasures to Akula. Increase bullet protection on fully armored vehicles to resemble protection of kuruma (i.e. nightshark, insurgents, apc, toreador, stromberg). Remove armor on ZR380 windshield. Increase speed of deluxo. Small and fire resistance on Savage, Hunter, Akula. Cargobob has Increased cable length or electromagnet option as seen during first heist. Cargobob is based on the CH-47 Chinook which can land on water (been in one). All ballistic helmets improve bullet resistance to head. Terrorbyte/buzzard/Akula missile tracking. I miss anything?
i 1000% agree with this, the a-10 is a air to ground aircraft, a gun with a plan attached, but one think i would do is get rid of the missiles, if it has bombs and a cannon like this than it really wouldn't need it, like you said, is not a air to air fighter.

If it was actually like this in game it would be a ton of fun to use, Rockstar really needs to make those changes because in game this thing currently struggles to effectively pull off any sort of CAS.
i am not much of a plane/fighting type of guy, but i am into cars, and i totally agree that rockstar is absolutely nonsense when it come to stats and balancing. all the cars that are meant to have good top speed in real life have crappy top speeds in gta and some cars that are just not notable irl for anything can have both incredible top speed and also handling in gta. kinda wished rockstar can just stop putting out whatever updates they are trying to push and focus on a single major balancing patch to make everything more normal.
Honestly, if it were possible, along with making a stronger turret, it should have a bullet spread rather than a straight-forward shot, because the actual A-10 is designed to fly fast, but it needs to be flying straight in order to actually fire efficiently.

Fun fact if the a10 could dogfight the a10 is a maneuverable plane it has to be to be able to engage as fast as it can. There’s a general rule of thumb don’t get within 2 miles of a a10 and never try to rate fight them Bc there slower and have a smaller turn radius
