Plus due to the following nature of the missiles as opposed to the predictive nature of their IRL counterparts, it's rather difficult for the missiles to actually hit anyway. It's not like this is a game-breaking buff, it'd just make it competent with the current environment.

Something that would be quite different, is the possibility of exchanging his missile launcher for a cruise missile launcher, as if it were a Russian S-300, where 3 or 4 large cylinders are installed with the missiles inside. It would be kind of similar to the kosatka cruiser missile function, but with more range.
The difference between real life and in game missiles are that real SAM missiles aim ahead of the target to cut it off but in game missiles just follow the target from behind instead of flying ahead of the target to intercept it's flight path.
Rebalance redux suggestion: make the missiles be similar to irl anti air missiles. - missiles leads on target instead of chasing it. - missiles explode near the target instead of needing a direct hit
Another key issue as well is the angle of the launcher, if it was able to point straight up and lock-on to targets directly overhead, this would counter divebombing and actually allow you to target aircraft effectively. Otherwise, exactly what the Chernobog needs, nice job :p
It should also have the akula's OTR when weapons are away. That way, when driving/setting it hidden and not immediately taken it, but then once someone's on the turret it appears on the map.
you should pair this with a buffed AA gun trailor. give it an enormous range and make it aim at a steeper angle if possible. whats the point in being able to take out an avenger if it can shoot you before you can shoot it?? its range is pathetic for a gun that should be shooting things out of the sky. also the other gun options? give them armour piercing bullets that fire faster. also give them the tracer effect so we can fuckin SEE where we are shooting... Although the biggest buff the AA trailor could get would be making it seperate from your personal vehicles so you could ACTUALLY USE IT. anyway...
Honestly one of the buffs I would like to see for SAM vehicles would be multi-target lock-on. Would be great for keeping the heavier air vehicles from interrupting events etc, while still being vulnerable to ground fire, which is easier to combat. On the topic of stable defensive tool, would love to see some kind of anti-lock on missile/bomber defensive tool as well. Something like a multi-shot flare tool. Maybe useful when driving normal cars or defending positions against. Could even be a vehicle upgrade or something, idk.
The thing that needs rebalancing the most that he can't do is the Deathbike in Arena Wars. Because they rendered the driver of the deathbike invulnerable to damage in AW, it effectively makes the bike a god mode vehicle with the best firepower, armor and performance in any mode you can take it.

Another thing that should be added is giving it 2 firing modes, one is the normal, the other is an airstrike/artillery strike. You could mark on map the hit zone within like 500 meters
As someone who primarly flys planes in GTA I have to say that I would love to see this change. GTA online is very biased towards aircraft and that is very sad because it means that ground vehicles constantly get owned by anyone who happens to fly past them.
one problem with these rebalances though, I think it will just become an armored turtle and wouldn't be any fun to fight against. I think it should retain the armor but lose the ability to track stuff on the ground. just so it keeps in the idea of an anti-air truck. I would like it to have a weakness to ground targets more so it isn't overpowered and just one shots any ground target that tries to kill it.
Can you do a rebalance of the Alkonost and maybe the other large bombers to make them worth using, and so the Alkonost matches its description in the store of island-obliterating payloads? I think things like a bigger blast radius for the bombs, having the biggest payload in the game to match it taking up the most hanger space in the game, and greater durability are essential improvements for the Alkonost. It would also be awesome if there were guided bombs that could lock-on to and track (weak tracking like if the fins on the bombs had control surfaces) targets from high altitudes and/or have a bomb sight on the bombers to make high altitude bombing feasible, as that would be the safest way to use one of those huge bombers, but I don’t know if it’s possible to give bombs guidance or add a working bombing reticle just by adjusting some lines of code.
At the end of the series you can also make a compilation of vehicles that only require small buff to be viable but aren't interesting or have too few buffs to make a video for each one.
Give a buff to the weaponized Tampa missiles (lock-on capabilities) and its dual turret. I used to love that thing, but now its severely underpowered in todays lobbies... Would be nice to see lol.
If R* was going to do this, they could possibly make it only get air targets since it’s an AA vehicle. But, it’s most likely that R* would not do this.
These are good ideas but I would add more. First of all I would increase the angle of how far up you can aim so that lock on range covers the whole sky, including area straight above chernobog. That way it just wouldn't be possible to easily divebomb it. And on top of that I would make chernobog invisible on radar when deployed and not firing. It would appear for a few seconds when you fire and then hide from radar again. This would allow people to hide the chernobog in grass or between trees so that it's hard to see from the air. And finally - I would make chernobog immune to lock on. If you want to hit it, you have to free aim your shots. It's a big stationary target so taking it out with a few easy homing missiles is not right.
It's funny because real anti air missiles use proportional navigation which means lead interception, and travel at LEAST the speed of sound. They also know where they are because they know where they aren't.
I really liked this video, What about buffing the alkanost? My idea is a "turbo" mode, so if someone fires homing missiles to it, you can outrun them easily, but removing the countermeasures. And an exclusive precision bombing camera, so its easier to bomb at high altitudes. (IK you can't do this, is very hard, but I just wanted to give my ideas) :)

imagine a chernobog with radar homing missiles. basically, unlike the heatseekers that all of the gta vehicles use, these (and most others so features i mention later arent useless) missiles cant be countered besides dodging. but you can counter them. introducing "radar jammer," a new countermeasure. upon use, it disables radar missiles for 15 or so seconds, so chaffe but it can be used after lockon or missiles being shot. as a balance for it being able to do this though, it only has 10 charges and a 10 second cooldown. so that radar jammer isnt completely irrelevant, other vehicles can upgrade into them. also, chernobog will come with heat missiles if radar missiles become a thing. you buy it later in a workshop or something. if that cant happen, it'll just come with radars.
Yet again, amazing job Ghillie by deeply thinking into several "realistic" case scenarios and finding a balanced solution to all of them. Keep it up, maybe even someone "important" stumbles across it... I hope... we hope I guess...
Could you try remasterring the Alkonost or the Rhino tank? Those would be cool, something new but useless or something old but given a new reason to exist

Even it has armour, it's still a sitting duck for Lazer to strafe against chernobog with explosive cannons. Make it went off radar when deploys missile silo. So jets won't know where the shot coming from.

Re balance any of the big planes (Bombushka, volotol or alkonost) I would think it'd be cool
Volatol needs explosive turrets and survive more than 2 hits, could also fix the bloody lock on warning.
The alkonost should get the same amount of bombs as the volatol but the bombushka should get 120
The guns on the Bombushka don't even work anymore they can only shoot straight forward
make them like the volotol in the air defences setup for act lll but without inf bombs

Rhino Tank needs a rebalance bad! I'm thinking armor buff along with usable sub-cannon like Lazer's, turret, and flares

Give a buff to the weaponized Tampa missiles (lock-on capabilities) and its dual turret. I used to love that thing, but now its severely underpowered in todays lobbies... Would be nice to see lol.

If R* was going to do this, they could possibly make it only get air targets since it’s an AA vehicle. But, it’s most likely that R* would not do this.
I’ll love to see the Bombushka or any big aircrafts be rebalanced tbh.
I low key liked that there is a delay with the rockets. Spaces them out so stuck in a circle for longer

These are good ideas but I would add more. First of all I would increase the angle of how far up you can aim so that lock on range covers the whole sky, including area straight above chernobog. That way it just wouldn't be possible to easily divebomb it. And on top of that I would make chernobog invisible on radar when deployed and not firing. It would appear for a few seconds when you fire and then hide from radar again. This would allow people to hide the chernobog in grass or between trees so that it's hard to see from the air. And finally - I would make chernobog immune to lock on. If you want to hit it, you have to free aim your shots. It's a big stationary target so taking it out with a few easy homing missiles is not right.
I think the Night Shark would benefit greatly from the laser/hydra cannons. I think you should give it a try
It's funny because real anti air missiles use proportional navigation which means lead interception, and travel at LEAST the speed of sound. They also know where they are because they know where they aren't.
I also think it should be off-Radar when its in combat mode
I really liked this video, What about buffing the alkanost? My idea is a "turbo" mode, so if someone fires homing missiles to it, you can outrun them easily, but removing the countermeasures. And an exclusive precision bombing camera, so its easier to bomb at high altitudes. (IK you can't do this, is very hard, but I just wanted to give my ideas) :)

I remember that when this came out, I was so happy to destroy some jets with it. Until I got taken out a bit too quickly, I got upset wished that I could sell it.

@@GhillieMaster - to that end I agree, If the purpose of the explosive rounds is to make it easier to hit the target rather than to add additional damage then I’d say that makes sense.

imagine a chernobog with radar homing missiles.
basically, unlike the heatseekers that all of the gta vehicles use, these (and most others so features i mention later arent useless) missiles cant be countered besides dodging.
but you can counter them.
introducing "radar jammer," a new countermeasure. upon use, it disables radar missiles for 15 or so seconds, so chaffe but it can be used after lockon or missiles being shot. as a balance for it being able to do this though, it only has 10 charges and a 10 second cooldown.
so that radar jammer isnt completely irrelevant, other vehicles can upgrade into them.
also, chernobog will come with heat missiles if radar missiles become a thing. you buy it later in a workshop or something. if that cant happen, it'll just come with radars.
Yet again, amazing job Ghillie by deeply thinking into several "realistic" case scenarios and finding a balanced solution to all of them. Keep it up, maybe even someone "important" stumbles across it... I hope... we hope I guess...

I love what you've done with this. A very fair and sensible rebalance. I'd love to have one of these, but I've yet to buy one bc of how unbalanced it is... bc like you said, what sense does it make that the ultimate take down of an anti-aircraft weapon would be an aircraft.
Not that it would be of much use, but have you ever submitted any of the rebalancing examples you've done to vehicles so far to R*? You should be working for them IMO

Even it has armour, it's still a sitting duck for Lazer to strafe against chernobog with explosive cannons.
Make it went off radar when deploys missile silo. So jets won't know where the shot coming from.
