Continuing my. exploration of riffs from Dio's Holy Diver album (last time I covered "Stand Up and Shout"), this time we're taking a closer look at the main riff from "Straight Through The Heart."
Such a powerful, mean and simple riff that creates space for the amazing vocals of Ronnie James Dio. There's a pinch harmonic that was played on the original recording by Vivian Campbell that he doesn't seem to play live now with the Last In Line band. We'll discuss that in the video.
