Great. Understand the different types of supports in details only in 9 min.
thank you doctor for this useful topic and all your videos.

    Thank you Professor
Dr. You mentioned on flat slabs in slabs introduction but you didn't cover it.
Cover also the flat slabs especially around punching shear reinforcements.
    God bless you.
    Thank you.

Will do that in the future but time is very limited and time will come to flat slab.

Thanks so much Dr. you really made structural engineering simple.
Sir, I will have to ask where theses supports are applied in building in real life. Your response will be highly appreciated.

You can find many of them in Bridges and steel structures.

Thank u doctor for this wonderful tutorial, but how do u apply this in the real life in both concrete n stee work?
    thanks in advance.

You need that to calculate reaction in different structures then calculate shear and moments then design.. I will start videos about that soon.

    How are you professor?
    Iam Balabyekubo I.J.C.
Iam begging you professor to cover moment redistribution in beams according to BS8110
How to shift / reduce bars from where they are many to part where bars are few?
    Thank you.

Thank you Dr. I have a question regarding pad footings, when there are moments in 2 directions. How do we get the maximum pressure.

    • @MrElgamal77
      @MrElgamal77  2 года назад

As in the case of one moment but add the effect of the second moment
      N/BD+6My/BD2+6Mx/DB2
The 2 in the above equation is square.
