What they mean is either morning to noon or late noon to sunset by 4 hours, noon sun is pretty destructive for most plants. Thank you, it's been very informative.
Thank you for the video. I hv this plant for 8 months now. They are growing downward the pot. Do you really hv to use tralis for them to climb up? I heard that if you dont let them climb up, the new growth (the stem) will dry out and die. I saw some of my plants has brown (dry out) on the tips. Pls answer
Hi Pleasant Prickles! 👋 I agree, it is a cool plant 😎. Yes there are several different succulents that look very similar but are different genera. To be honest I love them all ❤️❤️❤️. Mercy, peace and love be multiplied to you.
Hi Sophtorita! I don’t have a video specifically updating this plant but I’m sure I’ve shown it in other videos. But I think that’s a great idea for a video. It’s actually grown so large that I divided it in half last year and I’ve been taking cuttings from the half of the plant 🪴 that I kept (I sold the other half) and I am currently propagating those. Thanks for commenting and keep watching! 😊
Is a caudex (sp?) what the ZZ plant has? Or is that a unique tuberous thing? hehe I love this plant and I wish I could find it. Good to know its an anti-fertilizer plant. I wish there was a big list of common succulent, houseplant, carnivorous plants etc. that dont receive fertilization in their native habitat... that would be neat. Great Video.. I see I missed another one.. on to the next! ;)
It's funny that you mention ZZ plant in the same comment as the question of no fertilizer, bc ZZ plant really doesn't need any fertilizer at all either. But you can give it some like once a year in Spring or Summer. So that's the same as the Xerosicyos but ZZ doesn't form a caudex. I'm pretty sure that ZZ plants grow from rhizomes. I'll do some reading and get back with you for sure... :)
Liquidambar Girl Gardening awesome thanks! I haven’t been fertilizing the Zz but I haven’t been using distilled water like on some of my other plants (not all only the picky ones like Pilea and begonia, Venus fly trap etc. Now I’m wondering if Zz would do better with it. I drink tap water lol and have bottles of fancy water for my plants! 💚
Thank you for all your tips. Lovely plant and pot!
thanks, I have 2 of those Mccoy basketweave that were my mom's and I had no idea of the history. I have a brown one and one that same as yours.

Great video and awesome tips! Thank you!! I got a small cutting of if a while back and its good learning about each succulent and what they like. :)
lisett_WonderWoman nice 👍. I had trouble coming across some cuttings and I’m thrilled to have them. Good luck with your plant, my friend 😊
Thank you so much!! :)

the leaves of my silver plant are curling, what does it mean, it is such a cute plant.
Am I under watering if the new growth is browning or is it burning from full sun?
I’m wondering the same!! Pretty sure it’s not sun though as they thrive in it.. under or overwatering ..?! 🤨
Any updates on the plant?

I know a girl in Ontario that can get them if you are interested. I got one a few months back...it hasn't grown yet though.

I love silver dollar where I live don’t have silver dollars
Hey Tank Jeff! 👋 honestly I’ve never seen these in any greenhouse or garden center in my area. I bought these online.
I love the video. This is a succulent vine. I have one and it does not grow upward. Its a vine. Just saying.
