I'm going to do the German thing and ruin a joke, but it's just because I enjoy that fact so much: Edmund Hillary was actually first on the summit, but he and Tenzing Norgay insisted they reached the summit together. It was only the Nepalese government who wanted to spread that Tenzing was first; Hillary did not object and happily let the myth spread as he really didn't care. He was off on a ten year long quest to find the Yeti (I did not make that up). Tenzing later confirmed in his autobiography that Hillary took the first steps on the summit. The two remained good friends for the rest of their lives, as did their families - Both Hillarys and Tenzings sons climbed Everest together in 2003.
You didn't ruin it for me. It is wonderful when you hear of beauty in humanity, and people's kindness for each other. (I didn't know about the Yeti either!)

"They only deal in absolute units" 😂😂
Oh, NZ... that's where my other favourite YT channel is from (Viva la Dirt League). My brain has just created a 'mashup' (Foil-Alan, Arms-Rowan, Hog-Adam), and scenes like Mrs. Flanagan going to Techtown with Oisín, or a Getting past Azerim immigration sketch... I know it will probably never happen, but one can dream 😂
Arms promised me he'd message them next time they were coming back here. But honestly it doesn't look like they're going to be able to fit anything more in, so don't get your hopes up. I'm just saying that they definitely **want** to ❤️
@@SamFAHntha Oh, I didn't know that, it's great to know that at least they've been thinking about it! thanks for the info 😁
"getting past Azerim immigration" 🤣🤣🤣
who would be the official, Baradun or Bodger?
(probably Greg, honestly)
I clicked on this so fast!!! Yay for finally doing NZ immigration, some great gags in there! And yes, South Island please and thank you! 😂
This is brilliant! As a kiwi I have been hoping for a NZ sketch!
the power of sammich
I couldn't have coped with ya 😭
@@tilliebops *WITHOUT!!! omg I'm so glad I scrolled past this 🤣❤️❤️❤️
The day has finally arrived 🥲
An honest attempt at the accent (though I think the immigration officer did a bit of his formative years in Sydney) the use of idiom was great. To be that sort of a parochial South Islander he would have had a distinctive regional accent. Good fun they all worked for this kiwi and got a chuckle. Daughter is a die hard fan and going to the show.
Oh brill! See has great taste
Woooooooooooo! Congrats on the 1M subs!
Well deserved and more!!!
The Kiwi 🥝, kiwi 🐦, and kiwi 👱 joke was solid 🤣🤣
It seems like it'd be confusing but the only time I've ever wondered which one someone was talking about, was when I was talking to someone from another country 😂
🤣🤣 esp the south island joke - so true
Funny sketch lads 😂
Can't wait for Skittish on 1 December in Vicar Street, Dublin!
I'm in Wellington, love you guys. Definitely coming next year. Hilarious videos.
Well done, we love you guys, from Aotearoa
No way! Am I still asleep? Am I dreaming? 😆🇳🇿❤
Me as a honorary Kiwi with my Kiwi man we had a good laugh. He said your accent sounds like an Ozzie pretending to be a Kiwi. It is one of the hardest to fake even for trained actors.
Great sketch.
I love it that you pronounced the te reo Māori words basically correctly.
Good research
Loved watching this video! 😅 I was lucky enough to go there for two months on a Holliday and travel around! Such a beautiful place. And i agree, go to the South!😄
Yes, you should be coming to the South Island! Loved this. Might have to get over the ditch for your show.
Okay yes I'm ridiculously biased but I also wouldn't lie to you 😂❤️
Hog's moustache didn't make it through customs 😔 'What's that on your face?'
‘Absolute units’ is a great line. Rugby and science
FINALLY!!! I’ve only been waiting years for you to do New Zealand!
The accent couldn't decide which side of the Tasman it wanted to land on, could it?
Love you guys! Saw your last tour in Auckland, and absolutely loved it (we appreciated the Vogels shoutout especially) ❤ accent is almost there, just swap some of the t’s for d’s and hardly move your lips and she’ll be right
As a proud kiwi, I loved this! I have wanted ages for you guys to do one of these for us and every joke landed for me so I will forgive that fact Arms sounded more South African than NZer 😂
So i can just do this accent for SA then?
@@foilarmsandhog can’t speak for anyone else (especially people from South Africa) but I’d sure be convinced
@@foilarmsandhogno thank you. From a South African. Not the same at all to my ear.

The New Zealand Rugby answer was great
