Biggest myth is you have to polish before you coat. Do what the customer pays for and wants. Though as a Civic owner with gloss black wheels. I almost passed out when I saw the EZ Detail Brush used to clean them. Wheel Woolies or any other microfiber brush should really only touch gloss black wheels. If the owner doesn't care then carry on.

I was thinking about either using the turtle wax hybrid iron remover and the iron x, you used previously, which one would you prefer?
I prefer iron remover that just need to sweep rather than buff it.
I heard clay bar scractches the paint. Can we skip the clay bar only?
Use a decon/clay towel with a rinseless wash as lubricant.
