He's done the same thing the last 3 shows. Throws the Theorem, has a good look, lets one go sailing right to miss the headpin and missed the spare all three times. Dude should have 3 titles plus the major by now.
Krol was definitely nervous. He was SPOT ON against Tackett to make the show and bowled great to get to match play in the first place. I look forward to seeing him on television more often because he has the ability to do it.
David Krol definitely got every break imaginable in the Bill ONeil match. Not many matches that you win when you get nearly four brooklyn strikes. Sometimes better be lucky 🍀 than anything else. I’m sure Neil is saying to myself are you serious.
It’s one thing if you are getting a single Brooklyn strike in one match but definitely different if you are getting three or more Brooklyns in a match it’s your night.
Any professional bowler who wins a title deserves it. Do you know how difficult it is to win one of these tournaments? These silly comments that say the guy didn’t deserve it are just laughably ridiculous. His bowling during the week, and his ability to do enough to win when it mattered, says differently.
I’ve never been watched a bowling match, after watching some of your videos, I have an interest in watching some more bowling, the way you said the lanes transition, is a bit like the pitch in cricket changing, giving more swing, or spin, and the bowlers have to adapt to it, very interesting
Thanks for making this. Ive haven't watched it yet but I've seen so many "undeserved" comments by people who have no idea what they are talking about I hope you explain why the #2 seed got lucky and had all his hard work pay off. People say undeserved like they would have won the tourney if they attended.
I think if you look back over the history of the PBA you can find moments where huge luck has benefitted a player and taken them to a title. Steve Cook carried a number of Brooklyns to beat Earl Anthony in the title match in Long Island in the early 80s. Charlie Tapp did likewise again Cook at the Greater Hartford Open in 1989 to win a title. Joe Berardi carried several brooklyns on tv to win a title one year. Emmett Shutes versus Early Anthony at the 1979 Showboat was the luckiest, that catapaulted him to hos only PBA title.
The lanes were so burned up that they had to play the lanes the way did. Conditions like that increase the probability of going Brooklyn by a large factor. Remember, he left several 10 - pins on the right lane.
People crying for Bill like he didn’t just win a major because of a Brooklyn in the semi final then his opponent bowling 170 in the final. Boog deserved it. All you crying about can kick rocks.
The Brooklyn Kid should be Krol's nickname. Nothing sets a pro bowler on fire more than their opponent getting multiple Brooklyn strikes. O'Neill couldn't have been very happy about his match with Krol.
Why? Because Boog recognized the lane was giving him Brooklyn's so he played it that way? Are Brooklyn strikes illegal or invalid? No. If Bill is upset he should have made better shots. This gatekeeper crap has got to stop. This is why bowling is dying. You can't just be happy someone won their first title.
@@strongereveryday2302 I'm pro-Brooklyns. It's the pros who can't stand them for some reason. I try to play the Brooklyn myself. It's seems to always take out the 10 pin, my nemesis.

The Right Lane, Thank you for the Breakdown on the Stepladder Finals of the Pba Delaware Classic especially in the breakdown of the Semi Final Match between David Krol and Bill O'Neill. Also, You are awesome in uploading the breakdown videos from the 2024 Season on the Pba Tour. Also, Keep up the good work on the Breakdown videos from the Pba Tour.
These Krol D riders need to chill out. We know he obviously is a great player because he made the finals. We are just stating the obvious. He got very lucky with a ton of his breaks. The look on his face says it all. He wasnt happy with his ball motion and knows that his shots were not hitting great. YES I UNDERSTAND that “it dont matter what way they go down. 10 is 10”. Im not saying to take it away from him. Just stating the obvious that Oniells shots were much more on target but had bad breaks. Meanwhile Krol was very off target but had lucky breaks.
Krol had a HUGE horseshoe up his butt. And I know those two owners of the establishment sitting in the front row just loved seeing him loft the ball 15 feet down the lane and 2-3 feet high.
Urethane isn’t for “dry lanes”. Urethane made to hook early and just fade the rest of the way. People use urethane on fresh to get the ball to read early and not go sideways when the ball exits the end of the pattern. Urethane on this shot would’ve hooked at the bowlers feet
I wonder how many people in the comments were aware that Boog had to face EJ in a best of 7 to even make the show in the first place and he did phenomenal in that match. A relative newcomer having to go against the reigning player of the year and he did it well. He deserved everything he got here.
the whole pattern was broke. the luckiest bowler today was going to win , could of easy as ej or bill,, every bowler today new the pattern was shit and all of them chanced it. well done to boog and poor management once again to the PBA . if bowling wants to survive on TV someone other than the PBA needs to step up they are destroying the game
I just don't like this style of bowling. Kudos to Krol for outlasting everyone, but what happened to the lob line? These guys are flinging the ball halfway down the alley! And when does a bowler start his approach almost in the other alley? My god, call me old, I don't care. But juiced balls and juiced lanes is NOT bowling. It looks like pinball for gods sake. If someone can perfect the game by using the balls and the alleys that the PBA is allowing, to their advantage, good luck to them. But I just don't care for the way the modern game has been rigged.
Belmo would have shredded these lanes tbh. Too bad he didnt make the show but i know he'll one this year i know it. Really wanted Bill to win this one but hey its nice to see someone new win for a change.
I’m completely fine with people saying he got lucky because he definitely did, but saying he “didn’t deserve it” is insane. People have no idea what goes into even qualifying for a televised PBA match, let alone beating a legend like O’Neil, no matter how it’s done.
I’ve got news for the haters. My son is a HS bowler and all of them are taught that it doesn’t matter how they go down so long as they do. No one cares anymore if you throw pocket or Brooklyn strikes.
This is the stepladder final of a professional bowling tournament. The advice they teach you in high school doesn’t apply to this 😂 If you’re throwing Brooklyn strikes in a PBA match, you are doing something very wrong. Heck, just look at Boog’s reactions to his Brooklyn strikes. I’m a fan of The House Bowling so I was rooting for Boog, but you talking about some advice your son got in high school isn’t “news for the haters” 🤦♂️
That missed spare was Bill’s nail in the coffin.

Watched this one with some friends, we're all cheering for Boog, imagine a bunch of teens going absolutely nuts with every brooklyn he carries

He was playing the brooklyn because that's what the lane was giving him. Those were largely intentional, not accidental.
@@strongereveryday2302 tell that to his body language.
Bill just won a major because of a Brooklyn tho
It’s one thing if you are getting a single Brooklyn strike in one match but definitely different if you are getting three or more Brooklyns in a match it’s your night.
@@strongereveryday2302 lmao no they were not
I feel for Bill, but at the same time he recently won a major where he hit a brooklyn. Also, his opponent bowled a 170, so he can't be too mad.

Exactly! Plus, it was Boog's first televised event. Can't expect him to dominate right out of the gates.

Kayhko also pummeled Belmo 4-0 to get the first seed. What a wild tournament.
Even wilder is that I placed higher than kayhko in a tournament the day before this tourney started😂

It’s synthetic, it ain’t doing anything
do this for all pbas tournaments
that's the nature of BO1s
Makes me wonder why they didn’t try urethane. You know, the type of ball that hooks less but they use on fresh for some reason
Not really how urethane works. It starts to move earlier, so on this pattern it would lose it's momentum, and you'd have virtually no carry.
Urethane isn’t for “dry lanes”. Urethane made to hook early and just fade the rest of the way. People use urethane on fresh to get the ball to read early and not go sideways when the ball exits the end of the pattern. Urethane on this shot would’ve hooked at the bowlers feet

Thankyou for posting and NOT HAVING TO LISTEN TO RANDY “MOUTHY” PEDERSON
Krol will never win another tournament. You have to be able to repeat your shots time after time and he shows no incliniation to do so.
Brooklyns are part of bowling. It make up for all of the pocket single pin leaves
just like with Troup in his recent win, it's not luck if he can "consistently" get it!
He made his own luck. He was doing great the whole tournament. Its kind of a dbag move to call him just lucky. He's obviously very good.

brooklyn carries all the time, messengers happen all the time...
not lucky unless it happened all week.
It was a great watch, David Krol deserved the win with the way he best adjusted to the lanes
If "adjusting" means lofting the ball as high and far as possible, and then getting lucky Brooklyns over and over, that's not what I call "bowling".
@@mulehead126 Lofting absolutely is a way of adjusting. There's no one correct style of bowling. So whatever you think bowling is, you're wrong.
