People should be careful what they breath in the whole southern California area. The are a lot of asbestos particles lingering in the air. Some people are complaining of abrasive particles lately. These particles are blown out to sea and then blown back. So, most of this particle will be dangerous for asbestos cancers. All you need is one particle to stick to your lungs and you're a goner. All these types of insulations that were used in house are known to be cancer causing agents. A lot of the public is complaining about insulation type itching. It is dangerous up to 200 miles. So, staying indoors as much as possible is beneficial. Anyone that works a lot with insulation knows what I am talking about.

Because to bury the power lines you have to essentially put them in something that resembles a sewer tunnel. So if you think about the time and expense it would take to install such tunnel it becomes clear. Also, the weather isn't bad enough to warant it. Also, there are a lot of small ravines and gullies along PCH which would make this if not impossible extremely expensive and time consuming.

People should be able to go onto their property to start cleaning up if they so chose. Whether it be with a dumpster, or whatever. MANY people have been told they can't go onto their own property yet because it isn't safe. WHENEVER agencies can drag their feet, they will, and some do not need to be there. LET THE HOMEOWNER DO WHAT THEY NEED TO DO. IF the state has anything to do with cleanup, they will charge homeowners ALOT of money to clean lot debris out. THAT should not happen.

Is this a joke ??? What does cutting this survivor tree down have to do with proactive fire planning ???? Where were they before the fires ??? Should've been making fire breaks in the hills full of brushes.

Why does everyone want to save old trees they only get so big and live so long younger trees grow at a faster rate and absorb more carbon even the Bible tells you that old growth must be cut back to make room for New Life carbon monoxide stays low to the ground making grass and shrubbery a more efficient absorber trees grow higher up and absorb less carbon then lower growing plants having giant forest prevent the lower plants from growing is not really helpful but you would have to understand nature to understand that people just like to complain when they don't know what they're complaining about they just like to complain
