I've had this for a few months, I'm a carpenter that puts these under heavy use daily, my coworkers with milwaukee and makita both reach for my xr for nearly anything beyond a 3" wood screw. Got a milwaukee 18v that cant fully seat a 2 7/8 headlok and the dewalt xr sinks the head of a 6" headlok into quad LVLs like its nothing. Plus with the new powestack 5ah i ran roughly 4 boxes of 50 6"headloks into quads on 1 battery. After many xr impacts the 1st thing to break is always the speed switch after about a year. Thought it was just me but i noticed with my coworkers also thay 3 out of 4 xr impacts on site a few weeks ago had the same switch problem, setting 3 acts like 1, 2 acts like 2, and 1 acts like 1. Gotta smack it around a bit and flip the switch back n forth to get it right on the 3 setting. Hopefully that problem is fixed on this model and it can last 2 years instead of 1 this time lol.

Introducing? It's been out for 2 months. How about introducing the DCF964! Ohio Power Tool has it out for pre-sale before Dewalt does any marketing on it. 😢
