This MV might be a continuation of KAZINO. The girl with the glasses playing her assistant is the same actress that played the girl she saved in KAZINO. Maybe all of them are girls she saved to create her empire.
I haven’t seen this in the comments yet but this video and song had to do with Bibi going through getting assaulted in her real life at one point. It’s the reason why her new physical album actually comes with small self-defense weapons. It’s her taking back her power and empowering other women at the same time.
As others have commented, Kim Hyungseok was the guy they stuffed in a steel drum and threw in the river, whose funeral they showed at the beginning. The white sangbok Bibi wears signifies she's a close relative - wife or sister - of the deceased. I believe you're suppose to think Bibi is seeking vengeance on the government official for murdering him, then you find out in the final bath scene that it was actually Bibi who ordered the hit on Kim Hyungseok. Can't pretend to understand Kazino. If you look at the credits on Bibi's albums you'll see Kim Hyungseo wrote and produced most of her songs - that's Bibi's real name.
I thought that guy was the person who poured alcohol on her? The point about hyungseok is you didnt know she killed him until the end, thats the final twist. That it wasnt revenge for him, it was revenge for her.
Here's the plot : 1. the first scene is the funeral of Hyung-Seok, the boss of his gang, and I think Bibi was his lover or underboss of the gang. 2. The man who insulted bibi (spilling liquor on her) is a politician, campaigning for electioneering tour. He's been a big rival of Hyng-Seok(and also Bibi) so when he got trapped in the cage, he make an apology for his insult and suggest an alliance with Bibi, a kinda corruption between a politician and gangsters. He said "I'm almost there now, I'll fully back you up" ; promising to be a side for Bibi after he got elected. and he thinks It's revenge for Hyungseok, so he say "I really didin' kill Hyungseok." 3. and Bibi says, "What are you talking about," Because Bibi killed Hyung seok. this is why she smirks at him. and that's the twist of this story, revealed in the last scene in the bathtub : "Hyungseok Kim has been taken care of." she've eliminated the two rivals, her lover and the polititian, killing two birds with one stone. eventually, she got the position of boss, the queen of dark area.
So the title 'vengenace' means the revenge, not for her lover , but upon her lover(Hyung- seok), and the insult. 4. It reminds of korean gangster movie, Shin-segae ;means New world, featuring Lee Jung jae. I really recommend it to understand some k-culture, and I think Bibi inspired by that movie cause It has similar object, twist, and scenes, and I really like how she create her work in her own way, inspired by movies. it's awesome. I wrote this for the foreign fan of Bibi, so they can enjoy Bibi's works more better! It's my personal interpretation so if you got some different opinion, pliz comment ;)
@@Reinananou Another possibility is there was actually no concern who the killer was. The dude was running for an election, doing his own thing. BiBi was after the money that he could have taken from her. He thought amongst other things, she was out for revenge. Remember she said "What are you talking about?". She didn't even care to pin the blame; she just went straight and sought what she was after.
I think Bibi does justice to the rage women feel getting stepped on on the daily and that being seen as "normal." Or at least the rage I experience because its some unnatural crappy stuff that happens to us on the daily.
Most men miss the point of this video entirely. Every guy that I've seen react to this always just talks about how crazy she is, the word psycho usually pops up. A crazy woman is sane once she finally gets justice, but what it takes to get justice makes her look psycho. Every woman I know, knows that feeling, that moment, that look in her eyes. I've seen it, the recognition of that feeling, in the face of every woman I've seen react to this video. Bibi has been very public about her being a survivor. The pervasive SA problem is coming to light. Women have not been able to trust or rely on the law taking care of it and many are finding their own way to justice. I'm sure there is an overarching storyline here, something more than just a statement against the poor treatment of women but so far no guys reacting to this have even picked up on the fact why it's called Vengeance.
As a Korean I can see she's using various famous movies in Korea in her mv. The Kazino used movie called (Korean title of the kazino was infamous line of the movie) and this about the movie and . It's so cool
This is one of my faves. Definitely loved the reggeaton sound so i was absolutely here for it. I thought yall would have liked it more than yall expressed but its ok. We win some we lose some. Lol Edit: also her videos are definitely telling a story that is linked as others pointed out.
Please, check out these two brand new girl groups. They are Queenz Eye (Yummy Yummy is the debut mv, and Before & After is the b-side,which has a dance practice video) and Fifty Fifty (every song in whatever form you can find them). Both groups are absolutely phenomenal.
Fifty Fifty are amazing. The whole 4 songs on the debut "The Fifty" are some of my favourites of the year. And Keena is definitely my bias. Her visuals are gorgeous... she could be close to Tzuyu for cuteness... Not so keen on Queenz Eye tho...
@@de68a As I'm reading your comment, Before & After is playing on my headphones. I like Yummy Yummy, but this one is chef's kiss to my ears. But yeah Fifty Fifty is a very special group, and I feel like they'll explode in the new year. Fingers crossed.
Just a mini callout intended not as an attack or anything more as a growth point because I doubt you intended this to be derogatory, but using crazy as a go to adjective for women (like you did at 7:21) and specifically the "guys shes dating if you didn't know she's crazy by now watch her MVs" is falling into a sexist trope that imagines only women's emotions and feelings and artistic expression to unwarranted/excessive/irrational/invalid (i.e. the "hysterical woman trope") where if you saw a male gangster film or similar artist (a good comparison might be DPR ian who are doing similar dark twisty concepts) you would not say the same. Other than that little nitpick thanks for the reaction! For me this track has gone straight to my "fuck around and find out" playlist.
I am so glad someone finally said this! I am so tired of male reactionary videos frequently calling her crazy and scary bitch while men doing the same are viewed as badass and not crazy. You can see a huge difference in the way men on RUclips react to her and the way women react to her.

Im glad im not the only one who noticed this..i havent seen any comment saying the same thing..for people who dint pay attention to kazino wont notice
I love ppl like you! Great observation, I didnt peep that!
See…I wanted to say something but then I would face being completely wrong 🤣🤣🤣. But good to know I was on the right track!

"Kim Hyungseok" was mentioned twice in the MV. There is a storyline there.
The name is seen as making reference to BiBi's real name as well.
I think she killed him and made the other dude take the blame for it
