I think we can say she's recognized now that her videos get tens of millions of views and she performs on stage with senior artists. That's pretty insane actually considering she's not backed by a big company.

Yes, the way we film these reactions, we can't stream directly from RUclips, so having subtitles isn't an option! We've tried some reactions where we read the lyrics beforehand but it was awkward & affected our ability to give a genuine reaction. It's not a perfect system, unfortunately... 😓
You are right
Bibi didn't go through a Kpop Idol Factory so her videos won't consist of those cool kpoppy dance choreographies. Instead they contain cool cinematic storytelling with some very dark themes.
Unfortunately you missed all the cool stuff when you turned off the captions.
Additional info you might need to make sense of the video:
The funeral is for someone named Kim Hyungseok. Bibi's white garb signifies she is a close relative to the deceased. The story is not told linearly so after the funeral scene you see a flashback of Hyungseok's body being stuffed in a steel drum and thrown into the river. If you've seen any Korean gangster movie you'll know the man in the glasses is a corrupt government official who presumably ordered the hit on Kim Hyungseok then tried to intimidate Bibi in order to take over the family business. The story is not told in a linear order so the final bath scene is another flashback that reveals a twist that gives additional meaning to the title. The opening credits show Bibi's real name as songwriter.

Just to let you all know, the phrase they translate as "bad bitch" is probably better translated as "nasty c--t". When she performs this live on TV, she doesn't even say that word. She says "nap-pun __" not that final syllable because it's a VERY bad word. It's not like, empowerment, it's more like, "yeah, I'm that awful person you say I am. Don't eff with me." Korea has issues with feminism, it's like where the USA was in the 1970s or something, so yeah. :)
I really hope y’all continue to dive into BIBI - esp with Animal Farm, Kazino, The Weekend, Blade, Jotto, Life is a Bi.., Bad Sad and Mad, Best Lover, etc…she has SO many layers. Y’all might not vibe with all of them which ofc is cool but I love this channel and I’d love to see more of her here ❤️

I don't know why I keep occasionally ending back on y'all's channel. I'm always disappointed. Bibi is unparalleled in vengeance, the video, the real back story, its all incredible. Shame y'all are too busy rolling your eyes and yawning to see how good it was, or maybe you just couldn't hear it over the collective noise of your pleather? No matter, it isn't just this one video alone, it's been every video I've seen of y'alls. You're a band? Maybe you should stick to that. You seem bored and what's not bored seems fake, everyone seems like you can't be bothered to watch a video. If you don't enjoy the videos and you insist on still reacting why not watch content you're actually interested in?

As far as ive gathered, i believe the story in this music video is BiBi was the wife of a gangster or someone dangerous, and a large political figure who knew her husband attended his funeral after she herself killed him to take over the gang, but he didnt know that. He disrespected her and all of that stuff, so she extorted him for money and held him hostage, all while he thought it was because she blamed him for her husbands death. She laughs at him and his naivety and i guess thats when he realized she killed him, and he was only being extorted for the money and no other reason other than revenge.

I used to enjoy your reaction before, even those non-kpop cuz they were entertaining but ngl it's kinda boring now.
