- After 26 Years and being featured on the WuTang Killa Beez "The Swarm" album, Tha Beggas come forth with some real Hip Hop, Beats & Rhymes in a Nostalgic way. Tha Beggas is a hidden jewel from the 1990s DC Hip Hop scene and the need for the story to be told is past overdue. My OohNeye approach to filming this video hit home a little different because I am also a member of the group. Ive shared all the history with this group before and after and had to make sure that this visual represented and I feel the goal has been accomplished.

Have to say that track by the Beggaz on the Swarm was an all-time track as far as I'm concerned. They all really stepped up because each verse was more banging than the last. All with that cosmic theme.

My favorite part of the video was the fact it was made. I'm stuck in this era. So many acts of this time didn't get the shine that they deserved, so it's good to see the Beggas getting theirs. Im dirtyrat229 on all platforms.
When this dropped I was in highschool. I still rock this.
Years ago was zoning out to the swarm in my car, not really paying attention. Then I hear “keep the planets in line with one mind.. make the sun and the moon both shine at one time” and I had to rewind the song.
Timeless classic.

A friend brought a cassette of Wu-tang Killa Beez - The Swarm (a pirated one, of course, we had no other choice, you understand), which we had to immediately copy for ourselves, because there were still 30 people nearby waiting for it))). On The Strength is still with me in all playlists on various music services, I’m already 38 years old! Oh my God, this rap, the instrumental, the scratch at the end of the track... This track has a very special place in my heart and did so for many, many years.
When i got my first car i made a mixtape and i chose this track specifically to be nr. 1 because i wanted it to be the first thing you hear when you put in the cd.
And even after all these years it still sends shivers down my spine every time i hear these first few notes.

This and "Where Was Heaven" were the two certified timeless cuts on that album. They'll survive centuries while songs getting millions of views right now will fade away like a morning fog exposed to sunlight. Hip-hop you can play chess to, or play in a monastery.

Man this was a digging in the crates moment. For the record the swarm album gets rotation a few times a year. It's so good. This is my favorite song of that album.
