Hi, I found the serial number on the cable and I wrote it on the apple’s check coverage but it says “invalid serial number” and I’m pretty sure I wrote the serial number correctly. Does that mean my Earpods is actaully fake?
I lost my wireless jbl headphones. My mom got me used earbuds, and they look just like apple earpods and they arent fake are they safe to use on a samsung phone or tablet since they are apple.

The serial number will be on the cable on your EarPods between the controller and the buds, not sure whether left or right. Get a magnifying glass it is very small. If you got them with your iPhone just check the warranty status of your iPhone. Hope this helps Mr Jay

If you bought it from an apple store, maybe it's an error on the apple servers, or if you bought anywhere else, it may or may not be fake.
