If "Beast Wars" got a fourth season, I would've had him reunite with the Tripredacus Council to try and overthrow everyone. And then the Maximals and remaining Predacons could return the favor in some fashion.
I never would've guessed that Willows began his voice acting career with a Wendy's commercial. Guess that explains why Tarantulas was always so hungry.
Hard to believe that one of the creepiest characters ever on transformers is voiced by such a harmless looking everyday looking guy Alec willows literally looks he's a school teacher
Or like one of the few bank accountants/financial advisors that truly cares for his customers and he's helping a recent graduate manage his money. That suit truly does him favors.
The interesting thing about Tarantulas was that he knew much more than he let on. In season 1, he knew the planet was doomed and was constantly trying to escape from it. In season 2, he was doing his best to get rid of the aliens and fulfilling his secret role of being a mole in Megatron's ranks, and in the 3rd season, he was trying to finish the nemesis and take out Megatron.
Tarantulas is easily one of my favorite characters from the show. He was always scheming and I loved how he got crushed multiple times throughout the show. Alec's, "Oh no!" always gets a laugh from me.
I wouldn't put it past him to do just that. Who knows... maybe after everything was all said and done and the universe was safe from Megatron, he may very well have done it. He'd probably have to drag one or both of them with him against their will, but going to a bar and getting blitzed with some of his surviving war buddies does seem like a very Rattrap thing to do. lol
I love Beast Wars... and Tarantulas was always my favorite, especially when he became Transmetal. Always scheming. Alec really brought the character to life. Tarantulas shouldn't have died though... the show should've ended with a scene showing his little assemblers gathering parts, to sort of hint that he survived. They did that at one point in the series. I need to rewatch Beast Wars. It's been too long! The new Netflix War for Cybertron series is moving toward the Beast Wars era... but it's nowhere near as enjoyable as Beast Wars was.
My fanfic idea had Waspinator develop an alternative personality called Deathsting. With the help of Tarantulas, Deathsting would give rise to the next generation of Insectacons.
i make robots from wood parts i make robots instead of buying them hound costed 20 dollers and i told my self that i was not going to buy transformers toy ever again. oh one more thing radio free cybertron rules
@@BullSession The CBC is the only thing consistently creating Canadian content and helps us retain our culture. They have a pretty respectable news team. I mean what other networks do we have that even produce stuff here. CTV? Global? Psh. I guess YTV & Teletoon do.
Where do you wish Tarantulas' story had gone? Comment below!
Indeed, having him taking over for a while would have been interesting, Starscream style. And than... die.

he should have managed to survive somehow. his death was too anti-climatic. I actually wanted rampage to successfully turn against megatron.
tarantulas's death was too anticlimactic. unicron should have returned while the maximals and predacons lost their beast modes.
Honestly? I was very surprised that Tarantulas didn't return for Beast Machines.
I can't believe how close to Tarantulas voice his natural voice is!
Omg same
facts

* cackles wildly *
It's the act I enjoy more than the nourishment. *eats Wendy's fries*

I could see him as a high school teacher. Probably teaching english or history.

Sorry Mark Hamill, Alec Willows has the best laugh ever.

It's a poetic way to show how you can know someone for years but the whole time they're hiding dark secrets or conspiring against you!

That oh no needs to be a notification sound
Tarantulas was one of my favorite characters. I can't wait until they do Jim Byrnes as Inferno next.
I wish I could like this twice for his dig at the CBC.
This makes me wish Rattrap took Cheetor and Silverbolt to a bar back on Cybertron and got them trashed.
They would have gone to Swerve's that's where all the cool bots go.
@@paulgraham4567 is that the one where the service bots go around without their chest plates?
that would’ve been really cool

Then run into Megatron drunk talking to himself 😂
Taranulas was the best backstabber in Beast Wars.
Savage shade at cbc radio...
I guess he's more of a CTV kind of guy
cbc... steals money from the public.... this guy is a legend!!!!
I like how into it he seems! He really made Tarantulas come alive
Met him a few years ago and had a real mind warp when I realised real-time that he also voiced Oolong in the original Dragon Ball Z eng dub.
Oh wow his normal voice sounds like his character 😂😂
God I love Alec. Great jab at the CBC too lol
Nice! This is really cool! Tarantulus was my favorite villain in Beast Wars
Someone influential at some point must of called him or his work corny considering how many times he repeats the word. Feels bad man.
Yea... he definitely seems like he had fun doing it though, and that's what matters
I love Tarantulas. He is one of my factories characters in the show
He's right about the CBC
Holy Cats he was Faulkner?!

I like to meet you Alec willows
Tarantulas was awsome
Evil but Honest! The perfect summary of my favorite Predacon :)
A fact of life, fuzor
Such a unique voice!
His voice as tarantulas is epic, definitely the best character on beast wars and a large part of that is his voice
Best guy for the job
He seems like such a fun and genuine guy
I love his voice
I didn't know Tarantulas sold Biggie Fries. XD
He reminds me of Mr Layhe lol
I've fucking puzzled about tarantulas yet love paformce n voice
He sounds like Tom Waits a bit

hi br0!!
What the heck was with that dig at the CBC.
hahaha I have no idea. He's clearly got an axe to grind though

I think its clear our man Alec is a more of a YTV kind of guy
It's probably their version of Fox News or CNN.
@@ziggybarone3168 It's not. It's like the BBC in Britain.
seems kind of bitter
...how?
