I love how every model is from transformers armada, energon, and cybertron but with different heads and symbols and such. (Except for the robot that was next to cryotech that was featured later in beast machines.)
All these years later, 3D CGI has become a lot more affordable, available and advanced, so I'd love to see someone do an updated HD version of this. If the original voice recording masters could be found, it'd be awesome to see. Still, this is fun despite being dated.
I think Hasbro is pretty chill with that. I know they actually featured this vid at a convention. David Kay has also done fan-written script readings as Beast Wars Megatron and TFA Optimus at conventions along with a lot of other voice actors.
I loved their pre-Beast Wars designs as I read the short prequel comic to the series when I was younger all the time. But I always wondered why they were called Maximals and Predicons and essentially were based off of “beast” forms as seen in their insignias, but I always confused me how they all had normal vehicle modes on Cybertron. What confused me even more was how there were transformers like Dinobot who transformed into a tractor, but was still called “Dino” Bot. It didn’t make a lot of sense to me why they didn’t just call themselves Autobots and Decipticons or at least have beast forms on Cybertron.
This is a very interesting looking, thing, I just came across. Seeing what some of the predacons looked like before getting their beast forms, and the animation looks like it was animated in Motion Capture. Its pretty interesting to look at.
Great. I allways want to see this episode. When I ´m right it was on a VHS cassette in the set with Bat Optimus Primal and crocodile Megatron (the designs before the gorilla and the Tyrannosaurus rex). I found this video today. Years to late 😭 Thank you for the upload.

I do have to say that it's clear the homework was done on this one as there are little hints to the Beast Wars (excellent show) and Beast Machines (not so great) series. Excellent voice acting, though the music was a tad droney. Can't wait to finish up with part 2.
