Would you need a wider seam tape as well with the overlap smaller tape if it is for a stream?

Can you join flexible liner to a rigid pre-formed liner? I'm not sure how trustworthy the cold glue tape is. I've never used it before

      I would not trust it

@@deckerspondscapes9291 Me either. I ended up just using some kind of plumbers' glue and making a pair of aluminium brackets and clamping it all together with a bunch of stainless bolts. It's the same way I added a DIY skimmer, and that doesn't leak at all. I'd have just got enough liner so that it also fills the old preformed pond, but it's an established pond, with lillies growing, and newts and such, and I didn't want to disturb it. All I had to do was drop the water level for a couple days. I'm sure an hour woulda been plenty. That's more than it took to cut the preformed liner and secure the flexible one to it. Fastening the bolts took up most of that time. The glue said it cures underwater, but I figured it can't hurt to give it a day or two to cure. It's not even necessary, really. It's more to act as a gasket than to secure anything

Hey guys I got a question what is the best way to fix a skimmer can I add another piece of liner around the skimmer or how do you guys do it when you go to a problem pond

Is the 6 inch cover tape really necessary? Wouldn't the double-stick tape keep everything together and waterproofed?
