Wow!! That tunnel is like something out out of an Indiana Jones movie,i half expected you to find a crystal skull! The ingenuity of German engineering never ceases to amaze me ,integrating the natural environment into their structures. Once again HH and EE bring history to life, with out the past we can not understand the future.👍

That half bunker was a very unusual sight! That flooded machinegun tobruk reminded me of sinkholes in Mexico! Beautiful countryside you were in for this video but wow you had a steep climb as you fought the brush and mosquitoes! It is amazing how well hidden all these bunkers, trenches and tunnels are today, many people have no idea they are there! I learn so much from you two, I would never have realized that big spike thing was to hold lumber together in a fighting position. This was an absolute interesting location - thanks so much for sharing with us! You and EE stay safe and stay well!

Excellent find HH. As always EE finds the next bunker. The iron content is very high in the mountain, that would have made tunneling a miserable job. Love the half bunker, a poorly built one would have been completely collapsed. Another great video of the trip gentlemen. Stay safe and well.

That half a bunker was nuts! And its still standing, simply amazing. Those were some extreme trenches! I don't believe the openings were defensive firing positions. They were a means of getting sunlight and ventilation to enter the structure using the smallest possible opening and the opening had to widen due to the thickness of the walls and the angle of the sun throughout the day.

Just love that half bunker! Many thanks to that unknown person who decided to, not, remove the whole thing during the road works, or, to seal it up permanently. And, what an amazing site you two found. Just full of so much individual building styles. The rear facing windows in the half bunker, and that odd little "622", are slanted like that internally, to let in more light, I think, rather than as a fighting point, since they are well below the hill line, and it would have been pretty dark inside otherwise. That rough hewn tunnel through the hillside, leading to those MG positions, was incredible. Made me wonder how many times "Wilhelm" banged his head, running through it, and especially, on that angled rock at the last position! Love it when you guys find such amazing, forgotten, locations, full of mysteries and unique things. Cannot wait to see what else this place revealed to you. Cheers to you both! Stay Safe!

That German srtonghold was very will constructed and laid out, with the intricate series of tunnels and MG positions. The half bunker was something to see. The German soldiers could see any allie activity from that vantage point. Thank you for showing us inside that half bunker. The crew bunker was large and would have been able to accommodate many German soldiers. Enjoyed your battle sounds/effects EE. I would imagine the word, "Scheisse", being utterd many a time during heated battle. Definitely, not many channels share real genuine WW2 history. I give you two 👍👍 up and two ❤❤

Hi EE. That half a bunker was a novel idea - well positioned. The crew bunker was quite large with the two entrances. It must have taken hellva a long time to construct. It was a shame it was used as a garbage disposal. Bamboo gloves are awesome HH, I use them. The MG Tobruk was impressive with the concert blocks. The Germans were extremely resourceful. Thanks for taking us inside. The wood on the ceiling was very nice. There sure were many tunnels. What a system. Agree with you, HH, unbelievable. Thanks for sharing EE & HH .❤❤

Close though. I'll grant you that maybe the germans at the time might have pre-made those concrete bricks, but they didn't pre-make the mortar/or set, in between the actual concrete blocks. Some poor slobs had to haul the heavy concrete blocks and the mortar from either the roadside back where you were overlooking, or from the coast line. Good video.

Well that was my first for a 1/2 bunker lol. That cave/tunnel structure was absolutely amazing!!! Wow is all I can say. Just thinking on the amount of time it took to "cut" it all out just for MG's....wow!!! Also, that bunker with the 2 small side by side rooms was really different. Not sure what their intentions were for those, especially for the "cut" outs for shooting. Those did not make sense with their height, looking toward the rocks lol. Half a bunker! 😆 Turned out much more than that! What some fantastic finds as you started probing around the site. Unbelievable how much work the Germans had to do to build all of it and dig those tunnels. Shame people used one of those bunkers as a trash pit.

I would love to contribute to your educational videos but we are homeless living in the woods going from one place to the next. Better things are on the way for us and when they arrive a significant contribution will come your way. At this moment just finding enough to eat is a challenge from day to day .

I have been watching for at least 5 years now. I watch each and every one. I studied German in school. My great grandfather was from Germany. If I could move to Germany I would. It's not wrong to be proud of your heritage. On my mom's side of the family, I am a descendant of Mary, queen of Scotland. I'm glade you can see things- the war-from a different point of view . The truth be told, the victor always writes the history books-always with a great slant of the truth. As they say, a cornered dog will bite. I'm not justifying the things that happened nor supporting the fake neonazi morons by no means. However, I think that there are lots of truths that are hidden or just lied about. And no one even questions the narrative at all. I haven't watched TV in over 20 years. I don't listen to the radio. I used my phone as a tool for learning. I question everything and do massive amounts of research. Common sense plays the biggest part in the revealing of the truth of all matters. I'm not political at all. I'm spiritual -not religious. I'm interested in seeing things from multiple views. The truth in all things will someday be revealed. I love all people and all things. I judge no one because we are all one . Thank you so much for all you and your family does.
