I'm someone who has Ice Mastery at 39 and a Raegan around 70 reincarnations - I think you MIGHT be selling him a tad bit short, but that's mostly because there is such a nice synergy between him and A2 with all the healing they pass around. His Azure Glacier got a buff a bit ago, and between that, his MA2, the Blood Sword and his very nice damage type resistances, he can have a lot of staying power even without his courage buff - it's all dependent on how much raw bulk you give him, imo, which the reincarnations help. I do think Oldoa will be a huge tide that raises most ice units up, and think he is definitely A tier caliber with her protection. Howlett is probably better than him right now, but when Oldoa comes in, she probably wants to be your Dark Shiva in primary slot user, and if you want A2 to still use her VC, which I personally would even though Oldoa's not on it, someone has to run Dark Odin - just a thought!
The Nucio Helena Bartz team is confusing indeed, but it works in practice by sheer damage and bulk! I think it might be time to separate two S tiers and two A tiers guys... maybe have another screen for the C and D tiers.
I've been using Lucio with WoL and sylvie and kind of brute forcing my way through arena but the A2 ice/water teams are still rough, some of the mage teams are too. It's not bad but Sylvies ai isn't cooperative with me, she likes to buff go no where buff again then everyone's gone and sometimes she doesn't get range for even her LB depending on the match.... it IS been weird building teams for him.
In your opinion, what changes would be optimal to make gun n bow type units relevant again? New units with improved stats, maybe increased range, a DEX redesign, better dedicated VCs...?
I love that y’all have stuck to a more analytical style of content but still sprinkle in the type of old school fun content like the waifu tier list. Do y’all have anything else like that planned for the future? I was thinking a year two style pull war would be right in y’all’s wheelhouse.

I love final fantasy and I love gacha. The only thing I hate about gachas like wotv and ffbe is that they release new units like in a weekly basis, of course that is their way of making money. But it is just not my thing, coz most likely, the older units will be forgotten and they are forced to release units that are stronger to sell them which results to powercreep. Instead of balancing units is they will just release the same character on a diff unit/version. I play a gacha that I love that is not like that, and promotes balancing even for older units that is why I am still playing it after 10 years. Still I enjoy watching ur content and other wotv/ffbe concent creators and hope for the best for y'all

Ok, might be a hot take but: I don't think Earth Oberon is B tier, I would move him down to C. His only real "saving grace" is that he's a non-limited Earth DPS. Outside of that, he gets outclassed in the spear department, hell even though you can get a free 120 Oberon as a starting player, you also have Flag Glaci and Sadali who are not only a better shell than QMach and Oberon, but also are the elemental weakness of Earth. I do not see any upside to bringing Oberon to a spear team when you have Young Oelde, Flag Glaci, Veritas of the Heavens, Dialdo and honestly, even old King Oelde out does him from just being a solid cost limited Spear tank. Sure, he does have his strengths which is why I feel C is fine, but to me there are way too many units in B that I feel are just strictly better than Oberon, where as C seems to fit just nicely. I would also be fine with putting him on the line in the next tier list vid just to see how the meta has shifted.
I actually don't disagree with this overall, my big thing for him is the LB upgrade, I think it's a big enough fight changer that he's still got that pop when you need him. But you bring up a good point, he's likely one of many that end up shifting down

Again, it isn't that bad to adjust but it does add an extra layer of difficulty to his ease of use.
as an earth player, i agree with this. not to mention his barrier has soo long casting time so he often getting hit before the barrier is on. gumi should remove that casting time in his MA2
I'm surprised you guys keep Amnelis in A tier and don't drop her. She's slow, she's inaccuracate, she's a pure attacker that never heals teammates even if you turn off all of her attack skills, she never uses her life drain abilities, she has no natural Magic Resist Pen, she has terrible resists, and she has terrible HP. Her auto-Courage support skill is the only thing that keeps her getting instantly crushed by virtually any DPS from B tier and up. She needs a tank character with an aura (hopefully a Devout tank will come out this year), and then maybe she'd be worthy of a B tier listing, otherwise she's a solid C in my books, and I'm a Water main 😂
I disagree that Amnelis is slow and to some extent inaccurate. I have mine at 117 agility and +131 accuracy with Ice Jayden TMR, the Unit Res Pod, and an Aim Whale Whisker. But making her slow isn't necessarily a bad thing either if you want her to pass her magic barrier onto allies. That being said mine is max reincarnated with 8841 HP in a rainbow Devout team with Sol & Ranan -- I gave her a Def truststone set for the extra healing power --, her Mag is 1830 with two %Mag cards in the party with her holding the Elric bros VC in the sub slot. Dex 453, Luck 378, Unit Res 39, Area Res 45. Even if she won't cast a healing spell mid-battle, it is nice that she can heal at the start of battle 2, although she will prioritize the magic barrier.

as an earth player, i agree with this. not to mention his barrier has soo long casting time so he often getting hit before the barrier is on. gumi should remove that casting time in his MA2
They nerfed ildyras LB damage scaling??? It went from 200% to 175% that seems kind of weird and a bummer.
No no perfect, the way these work is it there's 1 person in it you get 25%, up to 3 units for 75%.
So it's still at minimum a 200% mod
