Just hear her for the first time in Horse Girl and I’m obsessed
On which part of "Horse girl" can I find this song?
Martin Kraemer at the end with the credits
Same here!
So did I. This song is the best thing in the movie
I agree
This song is so sorely underrated. What a an amazing piece of art.
100%. Saw Angel and the Big Time band in Detroit on Feb 1, and this song was astounding. The backup vocals and the keyboards are insane.
Less people have great taste like this so maybe each rating is worth so much more ...
Dude I’m obsessed with this song.
Rightfully so
Me too one of the best songs in a while
This song is a wonderful example of atmospheric nostalgia. It evokes the new wave heyday of the early 80s while sounding fresh and contemporary. Great video. Love Angel's outfits! She goes from an ethereal light to a sultry dark. A Yin-Yang symbol made flesh and blood.
its giving born to die vibes by lana del rey
@@popeyes_chicken_n_bitches Love Lana's outfit in that video. So gorgeous/sexy. That flower crown is beautiful.
That string arrangement in the middle gave me goosebumps. Amazing song and video. A work of art.
that part reminded me of Bjork's Vulnicura.
@@aalsousa this,.
Reminds me of Decades from Joy Division's Closer as well.
That would be Jherek Bischoff. Check out his record Composed. It's incredible.

‘A woman lost in a labyrinthine dream reflection climbs upward and traverses in and out of passages, afraid of the many selves that she carries, clouded and unable at first to face who she is meant to be: uninhibited and aware, unashamed and at peace, in control of her own universe, yet calmly leaving space for the inevitable possibility of change and inward shifting.’
This happened to my buddy Eric
This.
Beautiful ❤️
🤯
Shut up lol
She destroyed me with 'My Woman' and I want to be blown up again!
"All Mirrors" debuted at #2 on the New Alternative 40 Chart this week!
I really think this will be my favorite song of her. I love the raw indie sound she had on her earlier albums, but string arrangements can fuck me up like nothing else.
Ashley Connor's cinematography is brilliant - just perfect for 'feel' of
Angel Olson's mood piece.
Definitely feeling that the hyperglow from the light/halation from the filters, like YES.
This song literally cured my depression. My whole body explodes with adrenaline, happiness and rage when I hear the second part of the song. I sincerely thank you for this, Angel.
You’d like The Midnight then
🥺
wow you must have been literally like so depressed, literally, like literally almost suicidal
Same. This song helped me understand more about myself than I knew to question at the time. Now, years later, it holds importance and I'm still learning from it.
I get it now, this is the visual sequel to Lark. Amazing. Here she is more powerful, gaining strength from the harsh experience, but still looking back at the mirror of the past.
She’s going to be a legend when it’s all said and done; mark my words.
She's getting there.
Best artist of the 21st century
brokenupsound No they don't?
brokenupsound Name a better artist from this century
Her and Kevin Parker! Maybe Alex turner and Tyler the creator too. This generation’s mindset is gunna go so far 🙏🏻
This video is like a time machine, I swear she took me back in time. It’s a true masterpiece!
This reminds me of The Cocteau Twins 💕 I love the gothic atmosphere of this song :3
"All Mirrors" is a work of art at its finest. The lyrics and music video complement each other to tell a wonderful story. 2:10 to 2:55 artfully expresses the challenges (dark figures) we face in life, that undermines our innocence and beauty. 2:55 onwards describes the great self (inner) struggle between innocence and power, that is a direct result of the hardships in life. The story itself is moving, but the choice of instruments and Angel Olsen's voice adds even more drama to the scene. Its reminiscent of the 80s, yet perhaps told in the perspective of the future (it reminds me of the style Blade Runner created). What a beautiful song and film! Truly a moving work of art.
fantastic analysis
Have you heard Big Time ? Such an amazing album. It's better than All Mirrors. IMO. ❤
Intentional or not, this is a great nod to 80's music. Awesome synths. Allison Brie was perfect in this movie. Such a haunting song!
Just watched Horse Girl and audibly gasped when I heard Angel Olsen in the credit song
I'm so proud of myself for making this remarkable discovery
u KNOW she loved the movie labyrinth as a kid
Return to Oz here.
I get labyrinth vibes as well
Let's just split the difference and say it's something occult and esoteric, since all of those movies are just indoctrination into the occult.
She’s the babe
@Giselle O sure, it's natural for man to think we can achieve apotheosis through our insane egoism when the wisdom of this world has always proven foolish, that's literally the oldest lie around. Let me know when anyone finally makes good on becoming a god. Of course people love the occult, we're inundated with esoteric propaganda constantly. That's the entire "externalization of the hierarchy" thing...
she's getting more goth by the minute, and i love it.
I stumbled on this song on TikTok. I unfortunately regret saying that I found this on TikTok. Honestly I’m glad I did. This song is unbelievably so good. It took my breath away. And I’m like in love Angel Olsen music. Her voice is the most angelic thing I’ve ever heard before in my entire life.
the most underrated thing ever. I found a goddamn gem
Olsen's girl? This shit make's me want to do wall paper on a massive scale.
Can't stop watching this, it has the wonderful Lynchian quality of playing on your mind. Keeps you dwelling on it and coming back for more. Love it so much!
Angel Olsen should make a trip-hop album.
I am ready to receive my blessing

Me too
I swear everytime Angel Olsen comes out with a new song/album, it's always perfectly timed with where I stand in life, her music dictates my journey in life.
Zachary you’re growing at her side, in a similar way. :) I have that with some artists, like Marina Diamandis. It’s nice.
Indeed... it's that magical echo reminding us we are not alone... this path is shared. Had that experience with her last two albums. The next time I experienced it so profoundly was Grow Your Garden and self-titled albums by the duo "ANIMA!". open.spotify.com/artist/3xbmS6qcRWTyILBoaqAPT4?si=JeW0rsLkTq63kdLCno-gGA
True for me too. She sees right into my heart.

Giving me The Labyrinth vibes and I’m cryingggg
Love this synth-shoegazey evolution, got goosebumps at 1:40
chromodrop the best part of the song.
Best part of the song indeed
That's what we call '80s SynthPop. There are many good parts in this song.
Atmosphere. I. Curtis
Her chord changes so amazing
Stunning work, she finally embraced those shiny synths. So good!
Hey, it's the Last.FM guy on a different website then I'm used to
This reminds me of something like Cocteau Twins/The Cure/Twin Peaks (tv show)
YES! my exact thoughts were Coct Twins & The Cure. I hear Elizabeth Fraser's voice and the guitars and keyboards by The Cure.
YESSS
And lost highways as well
My Bloody Valentine
This Mortal Coil
Your songs are sooo unique I dont even have the word to describe what your music does to me.. this song gives me 80s nostalgia, absolutely talent affffff 🤙🏽🇦🇺
I've been watchin' all of my past repeatin'
There's no endin', and when I stop pretendin'
See you standin', a million moments landin'
On your smile, buried alive, I could have
Died to stay there, never have to leave there

Anybody else get up at this ungodly hour for this? Fkn. Worth. It.
Those STRINGS!
An artist completely under the spell of Dead Can Dance. She can't lose with this recipe.
thee ultimate self-love and human understanding song
One of my favorite songs of all time. It's proven difficult to put to words the profound impact this song has left on me, but I am grateful that it exists in our universe. Thank you Angel Olsen, you truly are a treasure ❤️❤️
The evolution of Angel Olsen as an artist has been such a thrill to watch. From her start as a soft folk singer into the revelatory songwriting of "My Woman," to this stunning song and video, wow, what an amazing transformation. I saw her tour ending show in Asheville in Dec 2017 and it was a knockout. (I posted two videos from this show on my RUclips page). She is a true shaman; she reveals the hidden truths of our world. I am in awe.
every time i listen to "at least sometimes it knew me" i feel evil and intense
I'd love to hear her rendition of a Bond song
Wow, I never thought of that! She'd be way better than Billie Eylish and her style of music would naturally fit with the theme! That's why Garbages's song was so good, even if the movie wasn't the great....They made the type of music that would befit a Bond film before they made a song for a Bond film. ..... It's not exactly hard logic.... Radiohead's song should've been in Spectre!!
Cool idea
Angel's recent collaboration with Lionlimb, Dream of You, really reminds me of her version of a Bond song!
This song is a masterpiece.
Straight outta tthe movie legend 2:10 i like this new look n sound from her. Evolving like a queen
Old gits, like me, are fond of saying there's no good, modern music anymore (like my dad, grand-dad, great grand-dad, etc, etc, etc). This is proof there IS!
You just have to look beyond mainstream music to find good music as there aren't too many mainstream songs that I can consider to be good.
This video is incredible. Her voice is simply iconic. Another amazing album on the way!!!
Whoa. The 80's are strong with this one. Sort of OMD x Ultravox. Love it!
I'm officially declaring myself a free child of the earth next time there's a census, after watching this video no less than five times in a row
I'm on like 12 times. And I'm a year behind.
She is really evolving as an artist. This new era is incredibly new for her but still has that classic Angel Olsen flavour.
I had a feeling the "Intern sound" would be popping up again. Bravo, Angel.
Yes! I did as well and am so glad it did. (:
Yes! Intern was my first favorite of hers!
YESSS. My Woman was transcendent, and this new song is already rising to the challenge of continuing on that insane level. Also digging the MTV-in-the-80's visual vibe of this video. A little wink wink along with the drama here.
Brilliant! All of it! The song, the performance, the cinematography, the concept, the costumes...
This is the 80's traveling to our future ears
I’m new to her music but I’m loving it already. It’s so special.
Where’s the damn lyrics person

Bro this song and video giving me Kate bush vibes. Yes yes yes yes 😍😍😍
and it came out on kate’s bday too!!!
i was gonna say that!!
Truly a blessing 🤟🤟
honestly if 4:10-4:16 isn't a wuthering heights reference i'll be very surprised!
YEEES, I was hoping someone would point that out! Seemed like she was going for a 'Running Up That Hill' vibe, at least with the video. Love Kate...Love this!!
Why this doesn’t have 10+ millions views already is beyond me. Angel is back and better than ever
This song is utter magic
Reminds me of the scene from Legend when Mia Sara is dancing with the figure in black, and then it embraces her and she’s suddenly wearing black. 😍
Mindblowing.. whoever created these visuals is a genius..
Still gives me goosebumps! Special track.
The QUEEN of broken hearts has returned ❤️❤️❤️ I love u Angel, forever.
this is a hauntingly beautiful track and video . im so excited for what's coming
Utterly wonderful song!!! Synth and string arrangements are absolute genius! Reminiscent of Gorecki in the breakdown section, which can never be a bad thing...
This song is oxygen. I breathe.
Radiohead strings and Sharon Van Etten synths hells yeah
Did Nigel work on this? I cant find info on the engineer involved.
@@estevancarlos I don't think so - I just thought it sounded Nigel/Radiohead-esque
John Congleton, who also worked on Sharon's last album, he gives me big Nigel vibes and this album reminded me a lot to a darker Sea Change by Beck
Damn, now she have a song with sharon
Ooooo getting major *Jean Cocteau (but make it contemporary)* vibes and I love it
That guy fascinated me as an artist
Oh my god, I wondered if she’d peaked with the last album, but this is noir-tastic! LOVE!
GOD she keeps serving. what a powerhouse...
I cant wait to literally see this Angel live
@Cathode Roy For me Its only in January!
I find this to be healing... The message is relatable for all, but maybe especially relatable for those who are struggling with their occasionally dark and bitter feelings about life. Im really touched by this song and video.
I've loved every one of her records. Can't wait to hear more!
God, she's amazing! I love this song
Awesome, can't wait. I haven't been this excited about a new album since I can't remember.
If it's as good as 'My Woman' it will launch Angel into SuperStardom!
Ok watched the premiere WOW! An Angel and a Devil (but which is which?) Beguiling to say the least.

great song with a great beat angel olsen all mirriors
chills. literal chills.
I finally went out and bought this cd. The hype is REAL people! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Olsen brings us a solid confluence of styles and influences and delivers a mesmerizing personal vision. This is not merely revisiting.
If Siouxsie Sioux, Julee Cruise, and Elizabeth Fraser collaborated on a project, this might be what it would sound like.
Wow. Excellent. I'm floored.
the ultimate self-love song, does anybody ever really know us better than ourselves, and can we ever trust anyone with our souls, even us?
OMG THIS IS A MASTERPIECE.
It has an Angelo Badalamenti/Lynchian vibe. I dig it.
I think it's so dreamy she has got a supburb voice. I love it and her
The instrumental part in the middle of the song is just awesome😊
Absolutely gorgeous! Such an incredibly strong song!
I got my tickets for the Moore Theatre in Seattle! Stoked!
Legend, the movie, vibes.
absolutely ecstatic. love this surprise 80s synth sound transformation . should have guessed since true blue or way back to intern that eventually she would embrace this sound and boldly progressing to a new direction. that's what every musician needs, getting away with from the comfort zone.
I'm so happy that you have released new music, it sounds amazing! I can't wait to listen to the whole album.
Twin Peaks: The Return
I knew about this amazing song in the final credits in a Netflix film. Just love it. Just love her.
Such amazing song. Angel Olson is an amazing singer this whole album is one of the best albums in music history
Her voice in this song remind me of Terri Nunn from the band Berlin.

October 4th can't come soon enough!

I've listened to many an angel Olsen tune, but Horse Girl brought me back here

Oh my goodness. This is so beautiful !!!!!!!
She captured me - again . Once again I think that this song has so much to do with my life situation.Matchless .
The beauty in everything she does is just amazing. I am so ready for this.
