  • DIY oscilloscope probes that are easy to build, low cost, high bandwidth, robust, and flexible. Downside here is low impedance but in most cases it is worth the tradeoff.

High bandwidth and low cost are usually mutually exclusive , so this bit of diy makes a pleasant change .

how do we make sure it's capacitance value is correct? is it based on the coaxial? i know some are adjustable but i bought one and it had the right capacitance but it's adjustable and at that setting the impedance is 10M ohm 22pF and the scope says 1M 22pF so idk, it's been years since i used this thing but I'm not getting any good readings just a flat line. anybody got any advice for me? much appreciated
