  • Another pier fishing session on Phuket produced four new species. It was tough fishing between the wind howling and the small fish picking my hooks clean as soon as my sinker hit the bottom. Through it all though I ended up catching four new species that I'm adding to my lifelist.

    hi im just wondering if your using a float cuz if you arent how do you feel the fish Im new to fishing and my float broke acouple days ago and the nearest shop is an hours driveso just wondering

      If you have sensitive gear, keep your line straight, and the fish are big enough, you can feel when the fish bites. Depending on the variables it might take some time to learn what a bite feels like, but eventually you'll know.
