I sprayed lots and lots of WD 40 into the seized swich and manipulated it for awhile. Eventually it all started working again. I did not open the switch at all (I would have lost all the bits, no doubt) and, after viewing this fine video, I count myself as lucky! Thanks for the informative viewing. Im trying to remove the dash cluster light s because they stopped working today for reasons known only to the universe at the moment.
I just bought a new replacement switch, and the dumb thing I did not notice before, the large signal switch lever is wide open to dust, dirt and water, especially when hosing or power washing the tractor. Your idea of flushing it out, might be an excellent idea, though maybe WD-40 should be followed up by a silicone base lubricant ?
The expensive failure was at the connection though, where corrosion destroyed the pins. I will be using dielectric (silicone base) grease on the metal before installation.
Also before you put it back to you in the dashboard you might want to think about putting the white lithium grease over that soldering stuff so don’t corrode
Thank you for your information. I have already bought the switch from the local dealer when I can figure out how to shelter that side opening from contaminants, I will install it. thx
Great comments and language. I won't bother to try to fix mine. Thanks!
I posted this to help people decide. Thank you for your comments.

If you come to Seattle I’ll pay for you to get a manicure. But you’ll have to pay for the Molson.
